Nomad hostel was the perfect place to start of my travels in Japan, the area is quiet but easily accessible by public transport. The team was so lovely and very welcoming. Even when I had a family emergency and had to return home for a week on a days notice, they were very flexible and willing to work with me to make it easy. The work is easy enough and they make sure you never have to do too much. The room was semi private, the common rooms big and clean and they even had small dinner parties sometimes. Would definitely recommend for someone looking for a quieter place to stay

I had a lovely time at the guest house! It's a different experience than stating at a hostel, people stay longer at a sharehouse so it's possible to create longer friendships. I met really amazing people staying there. The work was easy and straightforward, 10am-1pm on the dot. Events were organised for the volunteers like Udon or pizza making which were always really fun and yummy. The location is also great, next to Asakusa and the Ginza line. Thank you to everyone at the guest house for making my stay so comfortable! Hope to see you all again soon!

I am still here currently because I extended my stay as it's so good! Nomad is a perfect place to stay if you want to meet and make friends from all over the world, as well as have a really convenient location to explore lots of the guest house. There are food parties every month, a big common area downstairs for socialising and working, and the accommodation is safe and you get a capsule bed with workspace. Work is easy, you get taught for 5 days how to clean toilets, showers, different floors, change beds + other areas, only for 3 hours. Overall an amazing experience and I would definitely come back!

The guest house was overall a good experience. Pros: -Individual sleep capsule and mini-room was great for having personal space to relax -Working hours and tasks were clear and well-communicated -Staff worked hard to make it a friendly environment for socialising Cons: -Cleanliness of the communal space, particularly dishes and fridges, could definitely be improved: it felt like living in a student sharehouse -Despite the name suggesting being good for remote work, the communal area was often very loud, with a large TV playing at all times, which made it hard to relax or work

This was my first-ever hostel stay and I couldn't have asked for a better one! At first, I was a little worried about being in a mixed dorm, but it was totally fine! Each space is semi-private, with an accordion-style door. I would have preferred to have a way to lock the door from the inside, but I still felt very safe! The managers/cleaners/other guests were all great, & I made some awesome friends! 🥺 Tasks take three hours usually, sometimes less depending on which building you're assigned that day. If you can't finish in time, the managers take care of it. I hope to return eventually!
