Our stay here was incredible. Victor, his family and all of the other people we worked with (sandor, mate, bea and more) were the most gorgeous, welcoming people. We stayed here for a month and within the first couple of days I felt so at home and comfortable. The work was as described, cleaning rooms, helping in the kitchen and was not hard. They were also flexible with work so that you can go and explore Hungary in your free time. It's a great place if you like music, as someone is always playing the guitar in the common space. We made many good memories here and can't wait to visit again!

It was an amazing experience! Beautiful people (particular shoutout to Viktor, Sandor, Mate, Bea, Veronika and Ollie) who made it such an entertaining and interesting time, viktor and sandor made it feel like home. Everyone plays music for fun and easy to join! Only busy Friday-Sunday and the work was fun with kitchen prep, making heaps of pancakes, and basic cleaning. It's in a national park off Szentendre (very cute town with amazing chocolate shop), so surrounded by nature and we watched as spring came through! Also only 45 mins away from Budapest via train so day-trips are easy.

Spend my first Worldpackers experience at the hostel was the best choice! Viktor and his family, Sándor, Máté, Bea... and many people I met in that time were really special for me. We share about our cultures and our personal experiences. I learned many things and made special friends ❤️ in the hostel and also in Szentendre and Budapest. Köszönöm szépen 🙏

Being at the hostel on the of the mountains for a month was an interesting experience. I was surrounded by many amazing and welcoming people (Bel, Sandor, Viktor, Zsofi) 💕 you will have the chance to eat Goulash, cabbage soup and sausages. Pancakes will be part of your routine, my shifts were basically Fridays through Sundays and they were not very demanding. If you are keen on music or play any instrument, you will instantly bond with them :) Koszonom

My experience here was amazing! Viktor is a really nice host and always making shure that you feel confortable! The place is really good to stay in contact with nature, you have a lot of trekking paths that you can do. The jobs are easy going and you also have time to go visit Budapest or other places around! Recommend 100%.

Wonderful experience I learnt a lot about Hungarian culture through food, music and drink! Viktor and Sandor are very accommodating and make you feel right at home. The work is easy and it is usually only very busy at the weekend. There is always someone to ask for help, and if the work is too much it is not a problem. Sandor and viktor thank you!

I spent an amazing time here and Im so grateful with Viktor and Szofi who were the best host and were always kind with me and ready to help me in anything I needed. I learnt how to make pancakes and also helped filling them, I helped pealing vegetables , cleaning rooms and changing the sheets. Also learnt how to make the gulyas(so delicious). This experience would not have been the same without the amazing group of people who work there, they were the funniest, craziest and kind hearted. I could not feel more lucky 😊 PS: The dog of the house Cheppah is the cutest

It has been one of the best volunteering experiences we've had so far. The tasks aren't demanding at all and the schedule is REALLY flexible with lots of free time to discover the amazing places Hungary has to offer. However, what we appreciated the most was the hospitality of the people working there, starting from the owners (Viktor, Zsófi and their little daughter, Csepke) to the workers (Ádám, Bea, László, Olivér...) who have been amazing hosts, and made our stay unforgettable. They are always willing to help and they are all really interesting people to converse with and learn from.

It was the best experience as a volunteer that we had. Viktor is an amazing guy to talk with and to laugh with, he helped us with everything we needed. We felt like we were part of a familly there! The terrain on the mountain is astonishing. The place is so calm and peaceful full of great energies♥️ Definitely would go back there in an upcoming opportunitie.
