It was my first volunteering and I feel like I couldn't have chosen better, you don't work long hours and you meet a lot of different people and cultures, I leave with very good memories.

The accommodation is simple but has everything you need, the hostel's atmosphere is always very homey and chill even when busy, and the work is very doable and hours are respected. These made it the ideal first Worldpackers experience! I got to improve my interpersonal skills by interacting with guests and the other volunteers (whom I ADORE and miss so much, sending ya'll love gatitos🫶), and in my free time I was able to explore the GOREGOUS and incredibly historically and geographically rich region of the Northern Irish coast. Thank you so much Andre and Jacey for giving me this opportunity!

The hostel Mc Cools Hostel has definitely been the best place of all my experiences, it was a home. I feel very grateful for all the learning I have had in this wonderful place. I met wonderful people, made really good friends, enjoyed conversations with travellers from many different places, learned a lot, got to know many places in Northern Ireland. This place is very nice and quiet, the cleaning duties are easy, the reception shift is quiet and it helps to learn English and even other languages. The hosts Jacelyn and Andre, are very kind and always attentive to what you need, I thank them infinit

Pamela is an amazing young lady. We missed doing the review as Worldpacker only allowed 15 days before it expires. Highly recommended and hard working person. You are always welcome to Finn McCool's Hostel. Hope you made new friends and also enjoyed North Coast of Northern Ireland.

I had a wonderful time at the hostel! The hostel is about a 15 minute walk from the hostel and gave me lots of time to explore the beautiful nature along the hostel Coastal Route. The work is very straightforward and super easy to learn. Besides if you have any questions the owners are beyond helpful and are always available when you need them! The volunteer work is a mix between cleaning and reception shifts so you get to da bit of everything. I have had an amazing time and I can't wait to come back to Northern Ireland in the future! 💕

I had the best three weeks at the hostel's. It's in a lovely location near the hostel and there's always a nice chill atmosphere in the hostel. It's not noisy or super busy and the work is really easy. Only thing I would say is that it's not a hotel, don't expect 5 star accomodation. But the bed was comfy, the shower was hot and the kitchen has everything you need.

This was my first experience with Worldpackers and I loved it! The place is very comfortable and the surrounding areas are beautiful. The work hours were very reasonable and none of the jobs were too difficult. Andre and Jacey were really nice and helpful wirh everything, and I also had a great time getting to know the guests and other volunteers. I can definitely recommend this experience :)

I had a great stay at the hostel. The other volunteers were great and I got help, especially from Rudy, whenever needed. The Tasks were easy and the work not much. If you like nature and want to discover the hostel, the location is perfect. The evenings are mostly very quiet, so you should be able to entertain yourself, since theres no Bar etc. One negative aspect was the mold, even in the staff room, but they plan to do smth against it.

I loved my stay at the hostel so much. It was my first worldpackers experience and i absolutely recommend it to everyone. Jacey and Andre are one of the nicest people i have ever met, always there for us if we needed them. I met so many awesome people from all over the world there. The work is super simple and anyone can do it. There is a lot of free time to enjoy the nature. Thank you so much for everything. I loved it so much! I will remember this experience for the rest of my life <3

It was an unforgettable experience... I am very happy I did it. Thanks for the opportunity to experiment ♡. The people, the hostel, and the landscspes were special, and the team dynamic among the volunteers was beautiful as well. There is a continuous flow of guests, who are usually very friendly. The job is simple and the owners, Andrew and Jacey, are welcoming. The place is far away from cities and worthly, there is no city atmosphere and it is very quiet, although there is a village, which has its encant. I could met people from diferent countries it was very interesting... :)
