Teach English in Vietnam!

Teaching English to the kids was a valuable and fun experience! Ty is a very good host. He always made sure that we've had everything what we needed. The food was delicious en I enjoyed playing tennis with him. The accommodation is basic but everything what you need. Be aware that the teaching mostly consists of speaking with the students and that there is no lesson plan. Sometimes Ty would print out a working sheet to practice reading but especially speaking with kids who are still beginners can be quite challenging. Overall, I loved the expierence and would recommend it to everyone!

Ty is a great host and a lovely person. Always brought me breakfast, took me out for lunch / dinner.. Next to this, everyday, we either played tennis or football. I would definitely recommend this voluntary opportunity just because of this alone. Also, most of the students are very eager to learn English. So the're very willing for you to help them with their homework. Unfortunately I couldn't stay in the location provided by Ty in the school, because of my dust allergy. So stayed in a nearby hotel. Ty was very helpful in this. Also the hours where a bit more then mentioned on the WP page.

Teaching English was great, the students are very respectful and most of there favourite subject is English so they really enjoy learning. The owner Ty is very nice and very accommodating. Food is great, the accommodation is not luxury, this place is in the country side of a third world country.

We had a wonderful stay here. Teaching the children was a very rewarding experience and lots of them were very keep to learn English. Our host Nguyen Ty was very accommodating and always bought us breakfast and lunch and took us out for dinner, he also took us to coffee shops, played football with my partner and treated us to things like waffles and drinks. Our accommodation had everything necessary for a comfortable stay, with air conditioned rooms and a basic mattress and wardrobe. The town is quite big with lots of coffee shops and restaurants.

Volunteering at the school was a fantastic experience. The kids were eager to learn, and their enthusiasm was truly inspiring. The food was always delicious. Ty, the owner, has an amazing, joyful teaching style that makes learning fun and engaging. I highly recommend this school to anyone looking for a rewarding volunteer opportunity. The supportive atmosphere and sense of community made every day enjoyable. I felt truly valued as a volunteer and learned a lot from both the students and staff.

My time volunteering to teach English in the center was truly wonderful. Our host, Ty, was very welcoming and took us to amazing local restaurants. In our free time, we had the opportunity to play tennis and take leisurely strolls around the village. The children were really nice and eager to learn, making it easy and enjoyable to teach them English. We also learned a lot from them, which made the exchange even more rewarding. Hong Ngu itself is a picturesque village and experiencing the local lifestyle was a highlight of my stay. I would grandly repeat this experience without hesitation!
