I had an amazing experience at the hostel. Eventhough Cuenca may seem small but it has a lot of hidden jewels for you to find! Working with Juan, Elena and Dani was very easy and enjoyable, and I felt very welcomed and cozy. Would totally recommend!

My stayed at the hostel was the most beautiful experience on my life. I felt like at home, Juan y Elena make me feel as part of their family. They're amazing people, they're always happy to help you and explain you the tasks. They work every day with us, taking turns, they respect the agreement with the working times and days off. The space that they offer to the volunteers is comfortable and it have everything that you need, with a private toilet and a little private kitchen. I would like to go back soon and I highly recommend this experience to everyone. I've already missed cuenca

It was a wonderful experience for me, I had a lot of fun with Helena every day we worked together! Juan was also a great person, understandable and gave me some great tips on what to do in Cuenca. The whole team, Juan, Helena and Dani were very helpful during working hours and were always attentive! It was my first volunteering experience with Worldpackers and I couldn't have chosen better. I'll always remember them very fondly! the hostel is a great place to work. I highly recommend them!

The team is great, I felt really welcomed and as part of team. Cuenca is a little spanish city with a lot of active tourism on the weekends. So it's great for walking, hiking, climbing, canoeing and mountainbiking. We were three volunteers having the attic to ourselves. With a little kitchen and bathroom. The only pity: there is no stove nor oven in the hostel, just a microwave and you often have to walk bent over (just in the attic), because of the low ceilings. Elena showed me with a lot of patience and kindness how to clean the bathrooms. With her introduction the work was easy. Thank you!!

It's been my very first volunteer experience and it was really much better than I'd expected. I enjoyed being part of a kind team, I learned a lot about cleaning and housekeeping, I could practice my Spanish and I had a really nice, spacious and well-equipped room to stay in. The workload was absolutely fair, so I had a lot of free time to discover the city. Cuenca has a lot to offer! Lots of culture, nature and a beautiful the hostel with a lovely beach near the hostel. So, Juan, Elena and Dani, thanks a lot for your kindness, help and patience and I do hope to return soon! :)
