The Experience

We are looking for high energy party animals to come work with us. We have been running for 11 years on Gili T and have a huge reputation for the best parties. Candidates will need to have a high tolerance for alcohol and be able to deal with their hangovers the next day. We want our promoters to enjoy hanging out in the Hostel and not see this as 'work'. We need you to want to be here and socialising because it's what you love to do.

I absolutely loved my time at the hostel! I would recommend this experience to anyone! You are partying, meeting new people and the team is like a family! You get really good drink and food discounts as well as a rep only dorm room. The work is really fun, the management are super understanding and aware when it comes to your drinking, i didn't feel pressured into doing anything i didn't want to do, they are flexible if you are feeling unwell mentally or physically! I felt really comfortable at the hostel thanks for having me Leo and Jess 🫶🏼🍻

“Working” at the hostel Castles was one of the best experiences of my life so far. The work was super easy if you're very outgoing and love talking and meeting new people:) if you are not a social person this isnt for you the entire work is just talking to guests and organizing the activities that are on everyday. Jess and Leo are super easy going, chill bosses who give you the rundown before you start on what they expect from you so there's no miscommunication. I wish I could have done this forever the people that I met there were all so amazing and sweet and the hostel T is such a happy lil island!

I loved my time at the hostel! The “work” is super easy with lots of time off during the day to enjoy the island. There is always something fun going on at the hostel at night, and you meet so many people from all over the world. 100% recommend to anyone looking for a fun and social environment. Guests mostly come to the island to party, but you definitely don't need to drink and go out everyday if that's not your vibe. The managers and staff are 10/10, I will miss everyone so much! I will definitely be back, so happy that I found this place :)

Working at the hostel and the hostel mansion was soo much fun. Definitely had some of the best parties of my life there and met so many amazing people! The staff is very kind and helpful and I'll truly miss everyone. The hostel is very social and the staff and managers make sure you feel welcome and at home. I would definitely recommend volunteering at the hostel, you're gonna have the best time if you do 😁

I signed up to run the social media for the hostel but I didn't know you are also a social rep. Initially my hours were 10-2 and also 6-11. I Was working about 7 to 9 hours a day, 6 days a week as a social rep which I wasn't expecting. The accommodation we got in return was only maybe $15CAD/day. I did get discounts on drinks and food and 5 free shots at the club but over all I didn't feel like it was a fair deal. Reps at other hostels close by only work ~3-4h/day for roughly the same experience. You will also need to party and drink EVERY DAY you work which takes a toll on you mentally
