Volunteering at the hostel was a wonderful experience. Unkas is a kind and dependable person who always provided us with the shift schedule in advance. The tasks were simple, including check-ins, making beds, cleaning, and occasionally assisting with repairs at the hostel. The team was fantastic, friendly, and always offered helpful tips about Sarajevo. The city itself is beautiful, full of history, and home to very warm and welcoming people. The hostel is also great, offering many amenities such as a lovely courtyard and a comfortable living room. Overall, I highly recommend it.

I had a fantastic experience in the hostel. The shifts were pretty easy, the owner and Edin were very kind with me and during my volunteering I had the opportunity to meet a lot of people very interesting. Sarajevo is a lovely city with a lot history and local people were wonderful. Highly recommended.

The hostel itself was great, centrally located and attracted a very diverse and fun demographic of travellers! My coworkers (other volunteers, and staff, Sara and Edin), were all so beautiful, polite, helpful and fun! Getting along with them and working with them was effortless! I also really love Sarajevo and I'll definitely be back, the place and people are all very special! The work was reasonable and simple for anyone who has worked in hospitality or hostels. I am very grateful for Unkas for allowing me to enjoy a beautiful festive season in Sarajevo.

I had a great time at the hostel. The team there was super welcoming and made lots of great memories around the hostel and in Sarajevo! The tasks were reasonable and the work commitments were mostly respected. During quite times we were allowed to finish early. Our accomodation was in the dorm with guests but we were occasionally allowed to stay in the private room when it was not booked. Overall we had a brilliant time and would definitely consider returning!

This was our first workaway and it was a great first experience! Edin and Sara are great, super welcoming and explained our tasks clearly, they were always happy to help. The work was really easy in the winter and we loved hanging out with the guests and had plenty of down time to explore Sarajevo. We are a couple and Uncas made sure our day off was on the same day, and when he could we had the same shifts which was really nice of him. We were given a generous amount for breakfast each week and the accommodation was comfortable, being allowed to use the private room in the hostel when free.
