The Experience

Help out in our relaxed family home with laundry, meal prep, dog walks, light gardening, and the occasional pantry/fridge tidy. Cleaning is covered weekly. Stay in a comfy caravan with deck, bathroom & kitchenette. Suits solo females, couples, or friends. About 4 hrs/day, flexible. Warm, welcoming vibe, great references, and shared meals sometimes too. Ideal for independent, reliable travellers.

I had a great experience with this Worldpackers host. From the moment I arrived, they were incredibly welcoming and accommodating, taking the time to show me around and making sure I felt comfortable. They shared loads of helpful information about the island and were genuinely invested in me having a good time while I was there. It really made my stay enjoyable and memorable — I'd highly recommend this host to other travellers. Thank you for a great 4 days, only shame is I couldn't stay longer.

We had an amazing stay with Jodi and her family, they were all so welcoming and friendly and even took time out of their days to show us around the island. Their property is in a great location, only a short walk into town and the beach. We loved staying in the caravan it had everything we needed and we had use of an outside area where we could cook and relax. We would highly recommend staying with Jodi and her family, we will miss them as we continue with our travels.

We had an amazing experience staying with Jodi, Ben, Tom, Elijah and Maudie. They were such warm welcoming hosts and we are leaving saying that we have made good friends for life. Their lovely home is in a beautiful location not far from the beach and local town. Jodi and the family made sure we got to see all the camping had to offer , even taking us out late into the evening which was really generous. We will miss playing board games with them. Hopefully we will be back.

We had so much fun with Jodi and the family! The work we did was fair and we had lots of time to explore the island! She showed us some amazing areas on the island, like a spot to see the penguins and a biking trail! We also made them thanksgiving dinner which was very fun! I would highly recommend staying with Jodi and her family!

Hanks you Jodi and Ben for an amazing time on the camping. The work was never extensive or overwhelming. We were able to show their family a great authentic thanksgiving dinner:). The caravan was a perfect space for my partner and I, and the back porch/ kitchen area was a gorgeous place to hang out and have our meals. Jodi showed us around the island and we saw the penguin parade one evening! The town/ beach are very close, and we had many opportunities to bike or walk down to lay out on the sand and enjoy some gelato. Thank you Jodi, Ben and family! We hope our paths cross again❤️
