I really enjoyed staying at the hostel! The breakfast and reception work is really simple and chill. The hostel is located in a great area in Rio with subway, stores, restaurants and the beach really close! I really recommend volunteering here for a welcoming and fun experience. Unfortunately I couldn't extend my stay, otherwise I would. I loved getting to know and spend time with the staff, other volunteers and the international guests that stayed there. I had two amazing months volunteering at the hostel. The staff is friendly and welcoming and the hostel itself was well connected with the metro to the rest of the city, also with an amazing terrace and close to the beach. As a bartender I worked every other day 17-23, which meant you could still party afterwards and you always had the daytime off. I highly recommend volunteering here!

It was my first volunteering experience and I absolutely loved it! Everyone at the hostel was super kind and helpful, which made my whole trip chill and easy. Hostel provides many opportunities to get to know the local culture and get the best of Rio de Janeiro. I'd gladly do it all again, 100% recommended.

The volunteer experience at the hostel was a blessing. Volunteers are provided with a good place to sleep, a nice work environment and also lot's of opportunities to go visit Rio and it's night life. An aspect that I appreciated a lot was the honest and respectful work commitment that Gasper the manager offers to the volunteers. I worked 6 weeks at the reception and all in one it was a funny but very chill job (kisses go out to Paloma and Ale ;)) Thank you for this enriching experience!

It has been the best volunteering experience I have had so far! The location and working hours (every other day) is perfect for exploring the city to the fullest, and they really give you what they offer on their Worldpackers profile!

My experience in this hostel was truly incredible. The people that work there, as well as the volunteers, quickly became like my second family, always joking around and in a good mood. The tasks really didn't feel like working as you are always enjoying the good vibe and surrounded by people with a beautiful energy. The tasks are very simple and you have plenty of time to explore the city and enjoy all the free tours and parties the hostel has to offer, not to mention that you are literally blocks from the beach. I would 100% recommend the hostel 🤍

My time at the Copacabana hostel was a really great experience. Gaspar and the staff are amazing and very friendly. The tasks are not too difficult and it is a really great opportunity to meet people from all over the world. The shifts were one day on one day off which gives you plenty of time to travel around and see Rio de Janeiro. I highly recommend volunteering here.

Ones of the reasons that made me fall in love with Rio de Janeiro and want to stay 2 months longer, was the hostel staff. They are incredibly friendly and kind, always in a good mood, the best vibes. They respected my autonomy and gave me freedom to create content as planned. The communication and support from them was outstanding, even when I got in trouble they helped me out as you can't imagine. I couldn't be more grateful to them. It's not just a nice place with good amenities and everything you may need. It's a place where volunteering is %110 worthy. ✌️

If you are thinking of having a unique and wonderful experience, you have to be in this place. I'm not the kind of person who normally writes reviews, but this place really deserves one. For starters it was my first experience as a volunteer here. I truly loved the staff and the time spent around the international travelers was eye-opening to many different cultures and languages. The rooms are nice and the rooftop has a really nice view; which, is located just in front of the mountains and close to the beach. Ideally located to get to different areas quickly. I highly recommended the hostel✌

I had an amazing time at the hostel, from the volunteers to the staff the atmosphere is very friendly and welcoming. The hostel is also located in the perfect place for navigating the city, and getting a chance to see both the nature and night life.
