I had an amazing time at the shelter! Stan is a wonderful host and provides great facilities, meals, and flexible working hours. He's also very welcoming and willing to share his expert knowledge of horses. Work was easy to manage and consisted of letting the horses out, cleaning barns, and feeding the dogs. During the day we would take the dogs for a walk or visit nearby villages to provide care for animals. The outreach care is a great way of seeing different villages and meeting locals. I had such a fun time and definitely miss all the animals, Stan's hilarious stories, and the local pub!

Stan took care of me very well! We laughed a lot and had a great time together! The new the shelter offer you to be able to da lot of different things such as work in the yard or going away to other villages taking care of sick horses. Some days I had more free time which I could spend as I wanted but for example going for walks with the dogs. If you like to do different tasks, meet new people, experience a different country, learn about horses (and dogs), and have a good laugh this is the place for you!
