The Experience
We are looking for two responsible, proactive, and friendly volunteers to support the daily operations of our boutique hostel. This is a great opportunity to learn about hospitality, meet travelers from around the world, and enjoy a relaxed and organized environment. You will work 5 days per week with 2 consecutive days off, in shifts of 4–5 hours depending on the assigned role.

- Fluent English and Fluent Spanish
- Between 18 and 38 years old
- Only hosts solo volunteers (doesn’t accept couples or partners)
- Be from outside Mexico
- European Union Passport
- United States visa or citizenship

Este fue mi primer voluntariado y me gustó mucho, el lugar es nuevo y se mantiene bastante limpio. Nancy es la manager y tiene una gran calidez humana, el dueño Homero también es muy agradable, los otros voluntarios fueron mis amigos y el equipo en general era muy buena onda. Las tareas y horarios se cumplieron. Recomiendo esta experiencia:)

Fue mi segundo voluntariado en Worldpackers y fue increíble. Los anfitriones cumplieron con lo pactado, algunas veces, las tareas podían tomar un poco menos y han sido muy flexibles. Estamos super contentas con nuestra primera experiencia de voluntariado en mexico! Afortunadas de haber llegado a este lugarcito, nos recibieron muy bien desde el primer día y claramente fuimos formando una amistad con los días. Fueron super flexibles en cuanto al Horario, las tareas eran bastante simples de hacer, hay un equipo muy lindo de trabajo. Se agradeeeeece! A cada personita que conocimos en este lugarcito hermoso. Nancy y homero (manager y dueño) nos hicieron sentir en casa, siempre dispuestos a ayudar y a escuchar nuevas ideas.

La experiencia en the hostel estuvo bien, la ubicación del lugar es muy buena, y me sirvió mucho para conectar con personas locales, por otro lado hubieron cosas que no estuvieron del todo claras y que tampoco se cumplieron como lo acordado a través de la aplicación, como las horas que no se respetaban y el desayuno, el día que llegue decidieron sacarlo a los voluntarios. Si rescato algo bueno es que siempre pude hablarlo con ellos y me sentí escuchada, pero en general la dinámica del lugar fue algo desordenada, y es necesario interesarte por aprender para ejecutar las tareas.

Fue muy mala nunca me sentí cómoda siempre te están como Vigilando que haces , el dueño es súper despota , oí muchas quejas de huéspedes por lo mismo , creo que no es un lugar adecuado para viajeros que quieren conectar con el lugar y disfrutar un buen viaje . Literalmente me tuve que salir antes porque no estaba disfrutando de nada y lee comenté con tiempo a la encargada y simplemente mintió en todo cuando envié el mensaje y fue súper inhumana . La peor experiencia

Lástima que tanta imaginación no se haya reflejado durante tu estancia, especialmente al momento de limpiar un baño.
¿Sentirte vigilada? Lo mínimo es notar cuando alguien simplemente no hace nada. No era vigilancia, era tratar de que al menos fingieras colaborar.
¿El dueño déspota? Qué raro, eres la única con ese pensamiento y la Encargada inhumana... debes leer mas el diccionario,
Suerte en tu próximo voluntariado. Idealmente uno donde no se espere compromiso, iniciativa ni honestidad.
