The Experience

📍 Ronda, Spain Come and help us take care of our 13 horses, 3 ponies, 1 donkey, 5 dogs and 3 cats, plus a vegetable garden (in spring/summer). The business mainly contains of taking tourists out for a horseback ride in the beautiful countryside outside of Ronda. Beside that, there is always work on a farm, so you will not get bored here! For example: painting, gardening, fixing fences, cooking or help to keep the house nice and tidy. 🌱🍋🌞

I really enjoyed my time there! With Lea and Sandra, it is very easy to talk openly about problems, concerns, and personal needs. They work together as a well-coordinated team and motivate you to push beyond your own limits. Their love for working with horses and other animals is evident every single day. The animals are lovely and the nature around is beautiful! I would recommend this volunteering experience to anyone who proactive, enjoys being in nature and has a big heart for animals (especially horses :)) ). And also don't be afraid of getting your hands — and clothes — dirty :)))
