Vinodh is a nice guy, an amazing cook as well the café but he looked lost with the management of café place. On arrival, other volunteer was managing everthing alone from 8am to 7pm (the time that Vinodh use to show), serving, cleaning, cooking, buying the ingredients (which was very limited and we coundnt cook many dishes that was at café's menu).
Our time use to be from 8am to 11pm, with only 2-3h of breake meanwhile the afternoon.
The accommodation was dirty, smelly, hot, with broken pipes at washroom, a lot of mosquitos (my skin suffered a lot) and the plugs weren't working properly.

Working with Vinodh was fun. He is very informative and helpful to us. He taught us a lot with food and things about Indian culture. We would miss hanging out with him.

Vinod is a busy host, when he is available he is very helpful and great to talk to. He showed us around the area and helped alot with travel. Mahabalipuram is quite slow for tourists. We worked in the restaurant and there was a good amount of downtime to read and relax. Vinod is a great cook and good teacher if you want to learn how to run a restuarant. The laundry machine and wifi were down while we were there, but Vinod let us use his hot spot.
