I had an amazing time at Villa Michalis! Staying with Michael and the volunteers was a great experience. The workload was not overbearing at all. We spent a few hours a morning walking the dogs, feeding the farm animals, and tending to the garden/ helping out around the house. We also had to help prepare breakfast and dinner. Other than that, you have free time to go to the beach, explore the island, etc.. I love the island and highly recommend this program to anyone who wants to learn more about Greek culture while having a relaxed time on the island! Please reach out with any questions.

I had a good experience staying here. The property is nice and stands at the most perfect location. The work itself was light, with not many tasks to do, which gave me plenty of free time to relax by the beach. The only downside is that the town itself doesn’t offer a lot to do if you’re staying for a longer period, and the public transport connections to other towns on the island aren’t very reliable. Overall, it was a positive stay and I appreciated the oppertunity to meet new friends:)

I stayed at villa michalis for 2 weeks. I had to make breakfast, feeding dogs/chicken, go to the bakery, make dinner everyday of my stay, so there are no days off. Gardening was from monday to friday.

I stayed at Villa Michalis for two weeks and I was fortunate to be given a private room. Daily tasks included walking/grooming the dogs, preparing breakfast and dinner, watering the orchard, feeding chickens, collecting meat / bread from the village, folding laundry and accompanying Michal to collect goods from town.

On the weekends Michal took me to a beach & waterfall on the otherside of the island where we could walk the dogs together and have a restaurant meal (which he kindly paid for).

Some confusion around the ‘days off’ but still enjoyed my stay here and would come again!

I stayed at Villa Michalis for two weeks, and it was a truly peaceful and enjoyable experience. Michael was always kind, welcoming, and easy to communicate with.

The daily routine was like; in the morning, I walked the dogs, picked up fresh bread from the bakery, and prepared breakfast. After breakfast, there were usually some tasks like gardening or sweeping. The rest of the day was free to explore the beautiful surroundings. In the evening, I helped with preparing dinner. I am gratefull for the experience and would live to come back
