I had a great time at Sukia! Everyone was respectful and friendly. Thank you for having me and making me feel so included. Staying in the jungle was fantastic as you see new animals all the time and really connect with nature.

I had a good time at Sukia Hostel in Drake Bay. The location is really beautiful, it is perfect to immerse yourself in nature. I had time to explore the area, to meet locals and I was able to do amazing tours to the national park. When I arrived the hostel was a bit disorganized because the old manager just left and there was no structure for the volunteers, nevertheless we managed the situation. The hours were fair and the tasks easy for me to do. I recommend volunteering here if you are self organized and maybe already have some experience working at a hostel.

Sukia felt like home to me. The environment is absolutely stunning. Thanks to the tours they offer and all the activities going on, you really get the chance to explore the area. The tasks can vary a lot, depending on the role you apply for. The team is very open to new ideas and encourages you to realize them.

At times, things could use a bit more structure, especially when it comes to tasks in the hostel, but the experience overall was amazing. I met incredible people and truly appreciate everything I learned during my time there. This place will always hold a special spot in my heart.

I stayed a month at the Sukia hostel and it was a big surprise. It was my first time in Costa Rica and I discovered the true beauty of this country. It's a quiet place in the heart of the jungle, it was a very good discovery, like something I've never known before. The work is easy, but for me, the schedule needs more organization. The staff is really nice and I had such a good time being part of the Sukia family. I highly recommend it to someone looking for an unforgettable experience. Also get ready to live in the middle of the jungle and in a small town.
