South Hostel Cádiz
Cádiz es la cuidad más antigua de Europa fundada por los Fenicios y luego por el imperio Romano y punto estratégico después de la descubierta de la América. Cada callejón de la cuidad cuenta historias y leyendas, además es llamada la "pequeñita Havana" porque cuando se construyó la cuidad de Havana se inspiraron al barrio del mentidero de Cádiz.
Cádiz es una cuidad perfecta para vivir gracias a su clima agradable todo el año y rodeada de playas bonitas donde se puede practicar Surf, Kitesurfing y muchos deportes.
En nuestro albergue queremos personas que se sientan parte del proyecto y que se comprometan en su trabajo! Somos una gran familia y como todas la familias nos ayudamos, nos divertimos para que el trabajo sea más ligero!!!

Mi experiencia fue excelente. Me sentí parte de una familia desde el primer día. El ambiente es súper lindo, el equipo siempre dispuesto a ayudar y los huéspedes con la mejor onda.
Tuve la oportunidad de colaborar como voluntario y me llevo un recuerdo hermosísimo de este lugar. Gracias por la confianza, el respeto y los momentos compartidos.

I had high expectations with the hostel from the reviews I read, however, the hostel is very dirty (they had flies in the bathrooms and showers) the facilities are terrible. I commented on the dirt and lack of care with the space but I couldn’t stand to stay 2 days, the facilities in the volunteer room are also very bad, air conditioning with leaking water, old furniture and there is no reliable locker (lockers are in the living room). I recommend reading customer reviews on Google.

I really enjoyed my time volunteering at South hostel. The team at the hostel truly felt like a family and i met a lot of amazing people! The atmosphere was always positive and welcoming. The work itself was super easy and the shifts were really flexible so you could have a lot of time to explore and take trips to nearby cities. The team leader, Gerson, was always super understanding and supportive and made everyone feel apart of the family at the hostel! I would strongly recommend this hostel!

A very chill vibe! The work was easy and I was often given a few days off in a row so I could travel away for a bit. Everyone was friendly and the hostel has a big kitchen and a really nice social space to hang out in. My only issue was despite it being clean, there were a lot of broken things eg. door handles, bathroom locks, keys which don’t work. Sometimes this made it tricky to help guests because something would be broken or their keys wouldn’t work. Also initial training lacked some details which I picked up on the job. In summary it was very fun but a bit rundown and disorganised.
