Jack is simply the best, and Pai Lin and Khao are the cutest elephants ever. Every interaction I had during my time with Jack was insightful, fun, hilarious, and just PRESENT. I fully recommend this for animal and nature lovers, for people interested in local cultures, and anyone who needs a getaway from city life.

I recently volunteered with elephants at Le Cher and it was unforgettable. Jack and his family were kind and caring, and I learned a lot about these magnificent creatures. Watching them roam freely and interacting with them was awe-inspiring. Feeding and observing them was magical. I also met Jack's family and shared meals and celebrations with them. The surroundings were breathtakingly beautiful and relaxing. I highly recommend this experience to anyone looking for something unique and enriching. Working with elephants and immersing oneself in nature makes it truly one-of-a-kind.

I can’t even put into words how much I enjoyed my time at Le Cher. Jack and his family were such amazing hosts, the accommodation was amount the beautiful mountains and rice fields, the food was delicious, and the elephants were adorable. I loved helping Jack with the social media and getting to know the elephants throughout the week. Jack was so knowledgeable and I felt I learned so much about Asian elephants and their status in Thailand. I can’t wait to come back!

Staying at le Cher Elephant Sanctuary was the best choice to make. I really wanted to visit some Elephant but was worried about it being a large corporation where elephants aren’t treated ethically. At Jack’s place, you can see how much he cares for his two elephants Khao and Pailin. It’s a very wholesome experience, the elephants are free to roam wherever and we take them on walks on a different path each day so they get a more real jungle life experience. I’m so happy to have been a part of such a project :)

I had the best experience at Le Cher! Jack and his family were so nice and welcoming. Every morning, we fed and walked with the elephants — we learned so much about them!
In the afternoons, we had free time or Jack would drive us to some beautiful spots.
I 100% recommend it!
