Me and my friend stayed there for two weeks. His family it’s amazing, so charming and always willing to give you food and trying to provide whatever you need, specially Mr. Kozin’s mother, she is really really nice and funny.
We were working almost everyday, some days just few hours. Our main task was teach English in different schools or in private houses.
The people from Morobongo is really really nice and welcoming, it was a pleasure to be able to get deeper in the culture with them.
Obviously if you are expecting European facilities this is not your place.

Had the most wonderful two weeks here! Taught children at the elementary school, had many interesting conversations with different people in the community and did so many fun activities! I had the opportunity to attend events/festivals, learn about coffee and tobacco production and visit beautiful naturescapes. Though the home is simple, the community - be it family, friends, neighbours or the schoolchildren, are all immensely kind and hospitable and will make you feel right at home. The generosity and warmth of the people here have truly made this such a meaningful and memorable experience.

Although I stayed just for 3 days, I had a lovely experience with Kozhi, his family and his c. He you have to know that his house although cozy is small and modest, so don’t expect great facilities, and actually this is part of the experience of being a volunteer in these village :) In the end we shared without any worries. His family is really lovely and they will try make feel comfortable! I could visit the school for teaching English. Even If you don’t speak Indonesian, you can teach , nowadays translator is the best friend and kids there use it a lot! And they are amazing!! Thank u Kozhi

I had a wonderful time with Khozin’s friends and community. I felt especially welcomed by Khozin’s family, including his parents who made me feel as if I was really part of the family! In terms of teaching, it is not structured teaching in a classroom with lesson plans etc but more going around Temanggung speaking with locals in their homes and generally bringing English to the village. You will experience authentic living in Central Java rather than being a teacher. I was able to experience many activities such as waterfalls, coffee plantations, traditional dancing and much more! Thank you!

After reading all good reviews about this host, it's disappointing. I was supposed to teach English but the school was closed because of holidays, and he wasn't clear about what I was gonna do for the next two weeks. I was told there was another volunteer at his house, so the accomodation was a house under construction without wifi, a proper toilet or kitchen and the bedroom didn't have any windows. I left on the first day, and just have in mind it's not easy to leave from there. The village is really far away from Yogyakarta and there are no cars available, only host's friends or neighbors.
