Keiraleagh House- Wollongong Backpackers
The hostel is situated very close to some of Australia's best surfing beaches. There are many beaches within a few minutes walk, as well as a fishing harbour and 2 lighthouses . There is a bike and walking track that runs for many kilometres along the beach front, for your outdoor entertainment. We are also very close to many bush walking tracks.
The hostel is situated right in the middle of town where there is a great café and bar culture , as well as many night spots. We have a very bohemian, bali-inspired hostel. The hostel is in a lovely heritage house which is eco friendly. We are solar powered and have a lovely back garden to chillout in.
The hostel has been mostly family run, but we are now needing other staff. I have owned the hostel for 25 years and live on the premises . Volunteers will be welcomed into our extended family

I really enjoyed my stay in this hostel. Kerrie and Nathan were so easygoing and super nice. The hostel has a very chill and beachy vibe. It has the perfect spot located in the city and next to the beach. Also they have really super nice dogs especially Indy which I could take on walks if I wanted.
The volunteers were all amazing and after a time we became friends and even like a little Family. The work was not hard and a really nice exchange. Overall I would definitely recommend it. :)

Absolutely loved my time here!!!! Kerrie and Nathan were absolutely lovely hosts and the volunteers were all amazing!! Will miss this place immensely!!

It was a great experience, highly recommended! I felt welcomed from the day I got there by all the other volunteers and had a great time getting to know all of them. The work was simple and allowed for lots of free time during the day and the hosts were great. Such a good workaway experience!

My experience as a volunteer at Keiraleagh House has been incredible. This was my first experience as a volunteer, and it has been the perfect place for it. From the moment Hugo and I arrived, Kerrie and Nathan were excellent with us—hosts with absolutely nothing to complain about. They made this experience wonderful and much easier. Thanks to Kerrie, Nathan, and all the volunteers I met, they gave me a truly beautiful experience!!!

My experience at the Keiraleagh House was full of meeting amazing volunteers and guests. Nathan and Kerrie were pleasant hosts and Nathan even went out of his way to cook for us a few times. I enjoyed my stay.
