Finca Las Très Estrellas

If you're looking for a peaceful and inspiring place to reconnect with yourself and nature, our finca might just be what you're looking for. Nestled in the beautiful hills of northern Spain, I try to build a place where people can slow down, enjoy simple joys, and be part of something meaningful.

Volunteers help me take care of the land — olive and almond trees, herbs, the vegetable garden — and support small creative or practical projects around the finca. In return, I offer space to rest, reflect, and grow. Whether you're into nature, sustainability, creative expression or personal transformation, there's something here for you.

We welcome people who value calm, clarity, and kindness. No rush, no pressure. Mostly good vibes (I have two teenagers), shared meals, and honest connection.

Hi! I’m Lisette — originally from the Netherlands, now living on this finca in northern Spain with my two teenage sons. Life here is a mix of nature, creativity, motherhood and building something beautiful from the ground up. You’ll mostly interact with me, and sometimes with my sons or friends who come by to help. We’re friendly and open, but also value space — we respect yours too. Volunteers are treated with warmth, clarity and respect. We ask the same in return. You’ll be part of our rhythm — which follows the seasons and the weather. In summer, that means early mornings or late afternoons to avoid the heat. Life here is peaceful but practical — we enjoy honest conversations and shared meals or family games/films. This is a calm place, ideal for those who are okay with simple living, nature sounds instead of nightlife, and pitching in with whatever is needed that day.

The experience was a bit like living with a host family. I helped picking almonds in the morning and had the afternoon free. The region is very rural and has a lot of agriculture. There’s not much that you can do there, which you should just be aware of. You might be able to visit a city nearby but that understandably depends on the family’s schedule. Rafael and Mateo are nice and very open but do argue with each other and their mother like teenagers do. I am vegan and therefore helped quite a lot in the kitchen, as agreed upon before, and Lisette definitely was open for that.

This was my first volunteering experience and Lisette and her childreen made me feel welcome from the very beginning. The work was flexible and easy to manage – I mostly helped with the almond harvest – and Lisette is very fair with the hours, leaving plenty of free time to relax. The finca is off-grid and surrounded by beautiful nature, which makes it very peaceful, and Lisette even took the time to show me some of the nearby cities, which I really enjoyed. I’d recommend this experience to anyone who wants to help out with flexible tasks while enjoying family life and being close to nature.

Lisette was an amazing host and I will forever cherish the time I spent on her Finca. Each day brings something new, so be prepared to go with the flow of what is required to live on a finca. As a vegetarian, Lisette was very accommodating and I ate very well. There is also a nice balance of work and downtime, where you can get to know her wonderful family and owners of neighboring fincas. I wholeheartedly recommend this volunteer experience to anyone willing to put in the work because it is so rewarding.

Liesette is absolutely lovely! The finca is her house and she has two teenagers, we spent time together as she makes you feel part of the family. The work was well instructed and easy. Loved the pancakes breakfast and being spoiled haha It’s far from cities but it’s such a beautiful place, really peaceful! I shared the room with the other sweet volunteer, it was cozy! It was a enjoyable time, thank you Lisette S2
