El Granado Hostel

Our top-rated hostel is a social place to meet people from all over the world, get in contact with different cultures and practice languages. Take a look at the reviews left by past volunteers here on Worldpackers, check out our website and Instagram/Facebook profiles!
Granada is an old university town of great cultural importance with easy access to open-air activities and thriving student nightlife. Overlooking the town and at the feet of snow-capped mountains lies the Alhambra, an old morish fortress categorized as a world heritage site by the UNESCO. We are located in the centre of the city.

I'm Marco, an Italian guy who loves travelling, languages, hostels and Granada. Our wonderful team will make you feel welcome and at home from the moment you step in the hostel! We want our volunteers to feel comfortable and have fun. And to have an amazing work-exchange experience. There's room for everyone's ideas and we try to make a motivated, integrated team where everyone is equal.

I spent 5 weeks at El Granado and had the most amazing experience. The staff are super friendly and helpful and the facilities are great. Very clean and spacious. I would 100% recommend. The tasks are easy and you have plenty of time to socialise. Kitchen is amazing as well .

It was one of the best experiences I have ever made in my life. We as the volunteers became like a little family. I would recommend it to everyone that would like to meet new people and make new friends from all over the world.

I’m grateful to have lived my first worldpackers experience in El Granado Hostel! It’s been a wonderful month.
Roberto, Marco and all the staff are kind and welcoming. Communication is perfect and the shifts are clear and easy. The hostel is really nice, all the guests kept saying how it is the best hostel they have ever seen.
The hostel is in the center of Granada, walking distance from cute caffes and main spots

I had the best time in Granada, it is a smaller city but is full of loads of history and culture. I was able to meet lots of international travellers through the hostel but also meet locals on my time off! Would definitely recommend El Granado hostel for a chill, fun working environment :)

I had an experience above average compared to other volunteering opportunities I've had so far.
Everyone who works at the hostel is great, tasks are divided among the volunteers throughout the week, and the good environment makes the difference .
The hostel's facilities are great, as is the location. I loved being part of the team and will miss it. A special thanks to Marco and Roberto. It was a pleasure sharing this time with you.
