Centrum House Hostel
Amazing hostel in the historical center of Brasov, on the main pedestrian street. Everything is 2 minutes far :) We have 12 rooms with 50 beds. We are in the heart of Romania, and try to find a place in your heart too :)
We're in love with this way of 'living'. New things going on every day, we go with the flow and have fun ! As soon as the job is done we do what we feel like: cooking, hanging out , gather at our bar. We like to be flexible but we can also respect a schedule and each one's needs. We sort it out as long as we see you motivated, full of energy and willing to help without us asking every time :)

My first Worldpackers experience fully met my expectations! I stayed for almost three weeks working in reception, housekeeping, and also creating some social media content (something I really enjoy doing) 🤌
Lorand and Sorina were always very flexible, kind, and understanding. The tasks were chill and well explained, so they’re simple even if you don’t have much experience in housekeeping (like I didn’t hahah
The amount of time me and my partner stayed was perfect to explore the city and region at a slower pace, experience hostel life fully, and meet many great people. Highly recommended! :)

A great experience! Brasov is a beautiful city to experience volunteering. The hostel has a very welcoming vibe and I connected with many friendly people during my time there.
The work schedule was clearly organised - shifts were divided between housekeeping and reception and rotated with the other volunteers so you are never doing the same thing all the time. The schedule left enough free time to enjoy the city and also to go for day trips to nearby areas.
A special mention goes to Lorand, who truly cares about the volunteers and always made sure we felt supported and appreciated.

My experience was very enriching; from the first day I felt welcomed by the team and by the overall atmosphere. My tasks included guest assistance and support with cleaning.
Sharing daily life with people from different countries helped me practice languages. In addition, living in Brașov was an incredible experience: the city has a beautiful natural environment and a fascinating history

A magical place.
Don't be surprised if you make friends, end up going out every night, or chilling in the lounge until late at night (Respectfully).
The quality of people who frequent this hostel is incredible. I couldn't expect anything different when the people who work here are so special, polite, attentive, and caring.
It was an incredible month and I recommend everyone to experience Transylvania, and especially recommend experiencing it at Centrum House Hostel.
A special thanks goes to Lorand - I wish anyone doing the volunteer experience to find a Lorand in their life.

This was a great experience. The city of Brasov is very centralized and allows you to explore Romania and meet all the travelers that are traveling through Romania. The hosts worked effortlessly to accommodate and ensure everyone was well integrated to the team. The schedule and workflow were clear. The communication within the staff, group chat, and the host kept everyone informed and resolved any issues. It was a great environment to work in, which enhanced the entire experience. I had plenty of time to explore the area and immerse myself in Brasov. MUSIC CAFE
