BCHF KENYA
Blessed Children’s Hope Foundation (BCHF) began over 13 years ago with a deep commitment to uplifting disadvantaged children and families through compassionate action and sustainable solutions. Our mission is to improve lives by providing access to quality education, healthcare, clean water, nutritious food, recreational activities, and self-sufficiency programs that empower entire communities. Guided by our core values—as Ambassadors of Hope, we spread kindness and optimism; with Responsiveness, we act swiftly to meet urgent needs; through Equal Opportunity, we ensure fair access to essential services; and as Partners in Development, we champion teamwork and community-led progress—we strive to bring lasting change. Our work spans education, agriculture, healthcare, and sports, while also promoting health awareness, offering family counseling, and providing life skills training to equip individuals for a brighter future. Volunteering with us means becoming part of a mission that truly transforms lives. Whether you’re teaching, mentoring, building, or simply offering your time, your involvement creates a ripple effect of hope and opportunity. Join us and become a force for good—together, we can build a future where every child has the chance to thrive.
We are a humble and welcoming team that genuinely enjoys meeting new people and learning from different cultures. Hosting volunteers brings us great joy, and we are truly excited to welcome you into our community! We’re always open to new ideas and look forward to discovering impactful ways we can support each other and create meaningful change together. You are sincerely welcome here.
Important Information for Volunteers;
Daily Contribution
To help us cover essential costs, we ask for a daily fee of €10, which includes food, clean water, and accommodation. You’ll receive three traditional Kenyan meals each day—and if you're interested, you’ll also get the chance to learn how to prepare them!
Accommodation;
You’ll stay in our mission house, just a short walk from the project site. It’s safe, comfortable, and a great place to connect with other volunteers.
Transportation;
We offer personal airport pick-up and drop-off services for €50 each way. The project site is approximately six hours from the airport.
As a bonus, we’re located near the world-famous Maasai Mara Safari Park—a must-see during your visit! Upon request, we can help organize a three-day safari where you'll experience Kenya’s stunning landscapes, wildlife, and local culture.
Volunteer Tips;
Our school and community operate with limited resources, so flexibility and adaptability are essential. While some days may present challenges, we assure you that you’ll always find creative ways to make a positive impact. Your presence and effort matter more than perfection.
Support Our Mission;
We kindly encourage all volunteers to consider fundraising for BCHF before or during your stay. Your support goes directly toward vital projects that benefit children and families in our care. We value your contributions—whether financial, creative, or hands-on—and are always eager to hear your ideas on how we can improve and grow.
Thank You!
Thank you for considering being part of our mission. We can’t wait to meet you and work together to bring hope, learning, and joy to those who need it most. Karibu sana—you are most welcome!
