BCHF KENYA
Blessed Children’s Hope Foundation (BCHF) was founded 14 years ago with a heartfelt commitment to uplifting disadvantaged children and families through compassionate support and sustainable solutions. Our mission is to improve lives by providing access to quality education, healthcare, clean water, nutritious food, recreational activities, and self-sufficiency programs that strengthen communities.
Rooted in our core values-Ambassadors of Hope, spreading kindness and optimism; Responsiveness, acting quickly to urgent needs; Equal Opportunity, ensuring fair access to essential services; and Partnership in Development, embracing teamwork and community-led growth—we strive to create lasting, meaningful change.
Our initiatives span education, agriculture, healthcare, and sports, while also promoting health awareness, offering family counseling, and equipping individuals with life skills for a brighter tomorrow.
Volunteering with us means becoming part of a mission that transforms lives. Whether you’re teaching, mentoring, building, or simply giving your time, your contribution creates a ripple of hope and opportunity. Join us and together, we can build a future where every child has the chance to thrive.
We are a humble, friendly, and welcoming team that genuinely enjoys meeting new people and learning from diverse cultures. Hosting volunteers brings us great joy, and we are truly excited to welcome you into our community. We are always open to new ideas and look forward to discovering meaningful ways we can support one another and create lasting, positive change together. You are sincerely welcome here.
Important Information for Volunteers
Daily Contribution
To help us cover essential costs, we ask for a daily contribution of €10, which includes accommodation, clean water, and three nutritious, traditional Kenyan meals each day. If you are interested, you’ll also have the opportunity to learn how to prepare these local dishes.
Accommodation
Volunteers are housed in our mission home, located a short walk from the project site. It is safe, comfortable, and offers a wonderful space to connect with fellow volunteers and immerse yourself in the community.
Transportation
We provide personal airport pick-up and drop-off services for €50 each way. The project site is approximately six hours from the airport.
As a bonus, we are located near the world-famous Maasai Mara Safari Park, a must-see during your stay. Upon request, we can help arrange a three-day safari, giving you the chance to experience Kenya’s breathtaking landscapes, incredible wildlife, and rich culture.
Volunteer Tips
Our school and community operate with limited resources, so flexibility, creativity, and adaptability are essential. While some days may present challenges, we assure you that there will always be meaningful ways to make a positive impact. Your presence, effort, and attitude matter far more than perfection.
Support Our Mission
We kindly encourage volunteers to consider fundraising for BCHF before or during their stay. Your support goes directly toward essential projects that benefit children and families in need.
We value all forms of contribution—financial, artistic, educational, technical, or hands-on—and we are always eager to hear your ideas on how we can continue improving and expanding our programs.
Thank You!
Thank you for considering being part of our mission. We cannot wait to meet you and work together to bring hope, education, and joy to those who need it most.
Karibu sana — you are most welcome!
