Firstly, I volunteered with a friend and with my friend's support it might has been different experience rather than volunteering in Aashray alone. We're greeted with a warm welcome by the helping staff. All the girls speak fluently in English. They also tried to support us and didn't give any chance to feel us lost. After meeting with Sushila we roughly discussed how we could help them accounting everything we're able of. You'll be expected to help with creating the content and promoting the Care Home. Work with the children is less important. Food is fantastic! Accommodation is quite hectic.

My experience at Aashray Care Home in Jaipur was truly wonderful. My main goal was to share meaningful moments with the children, and I was able to accomplish that. They are incredibly sweet and full of light.

Each one of them taught me something unique, and through them I learned deeply about the true meaning of life. Sushila and the entire team are exceptional people—kind, committed, and inspiring.

During my time there, I supported the project by helping with children’s activities, as well as photography, videography, and fundraising. Good food and hospitality.

I stayed at the Boys House and volunteering at Aashray was truly memorable. The kids are amazing, energetic, fun, and smart. It has been the most welcoming project I’ve joined so far. Their joy and resilience made every moment special, and I felt part of a family.

The only area that could improve is communication and task management, which at times felt unclear, but I shared suggestions with Sushila and other volunteers.

Overall, it was a wonderful and impactful experience, and I will definitely return.

This time at Aashray is one I will hold with my forever. It is such a happy inspiring place with strong leadership and values. The staff are all so welcoming and the children are incredible. There is definitely lots of ways you can improve the site if you take initiative and are open minded. Overall it is a wonderful place to work and experience new culture and work with great people

First of all, if you love children, definitely go here.
The kids here were so sweet and fun to talk with and play games with.
The management was lacking. I felt pressured to get donations for them instead of helping the children. There were a bunch of other local workers there. I communicated beforehand that I was only there to teach English and help the children.
Make sure your communication with management is crystal clear before even arriving.
