Lawrence is really an admirable host. He really puts in effort to improve the lives of people the organization and to make volunteers feel at home. I am vegan and have a lot of allergies, and he was very proactive in trying to understand my diet to ensure I always had all the food I needed. To the volunteers reading this review, I assure you that here you will find meaningful and varied tasks, and a knowledgeable host always ready to explain them. Each morning, tasks are discussed with the whole team, and all volunteers can take on the jobs that best suit their abilities or what they want to learn.

Casino Van Gompel is a great place! This was our first volunteer and we enjoyed since the first second, the house is so amazing and big, you will have a lot of different tasks to do there, from fixing things, building, and cleaning to gardening and of course, one of my favorites, work in the Café, we did amazing friends that will be in my heart for the rest of my life, we connected with nature and learned about the everyday life the organization. Lawrence is a great host, we had an amazing room that other volunteers prepared for us, very nice food to prepare our meals and hot water to take good baths

Mi experiencia en este voluntariado fue buena, se respetaron Los horarios de trabajo , conocí personas Increibles , lo que mas me gustó fue que me Sentí una mujer fuerte, aprendi nuevas cosas , Lawrence es un hombre muy amable , entregado al proyecto del casino , siempre dispuesto a ayudarnos y hacer que nos sintieramos muy Bien , de seguro es un Lugar que te hará sentir mucho mas fuerte ♥️

Im travelling with my girlfriend, this was our very first volunteer and we just loved it. We met really amazing people, we learned a lot of new stuff, tasks and skills. We really enjoyed improving the place, helping out with the Cafe, and having the group dynamic everyday. Food is not a problem, a lot of options and enough for everyone! Lawrence is a great host, we really had an amazing time here

I had an amazing time at Casino Van Gompel! Lawrence was a generous host and I appreciated all his hospitality, especially that he picked me up at the train station when I arrived. The accommodations were very good, my room was much bigger than I expected. I spent a lot of my time working at the cafe serving drinks, which I very much enjoyed. I also had the chance to develop new skills, such as plastering and spreading concrete. My favorite part of this experience was getting to meet all the amazing international volunteers and getting the chance to exchange cultures with them.

This volunteering experience was one of the best I have had. Lawrence received us with a warm heart heart, he gave us the opportunity to share this experience with my mom, and had the patience to teach us and guideus through the daily activities. We really enjoy cooking, working at the bar, restoring the beautiful teather and sharing great and lovely experiences with the other volunteers. Lawrence, thanks a lot for the experience. An incredible experience at Casino Van Gompel. The tasks are varied and interesting. There are plenty of opportunities to learn different skills and share ideas. Also great to meet so many other volunteers and locals. The plan for the Casino going forward is very the organization orientated and it was great to play a small part in that. The building itself is very impressive. Can get cold at night, but there are blankets, duvets and hot water bottles provided. Plenty of food also provided, as well as some bikes for transport. Overall I had a fantastic experience and I hope to back sometime.

Este voluntariado fue increíble para mi, de verdad lo recomiendo, conocí personas maravillosas, aprendi demasiadas cosas y pude practicar mucho mi ingles. Estoy muy agradecido con Lawrence por todo su tiempo dedicación y pasión que le pone a este proyecto asi como su gran hospitalidad.
