The hostel is the best place ever to volunteer at! Špela and Denis were great hosts, and made my stay truly amazing! They were always looking after us volunteers and giving us suggestions on what to do in the Bled area. The position details and work hours are true to the description, just remember to ask for your day off, and Špela and Denis will happily oblige. Typical day was 2 hours of cleaning in the morning, rotating days helping with check ins, and closing the common areas at night. The other volunteers here during my stay were also fantastic! I 100% recommend volunteering here!

The hostel feels like home away from home! <3 I can't recommend this experience enough! The whole team is amazing & Denis and Špela are so welcoming and fun :) Tasks are as described and there's lots of time to explore the area (which has LOTS to do). Make sure to ask in advance for your days off, stay flexible, and you'll have the best time! Wish I could've stayed longer!! All love to this place and THANK YOU for everything! I'll be back :)

This was a really amazing experience and I would go back and help in a heartbeat. Really fun team that felt like family, the hostel was in a beautiful area and the tasks were easy and fulfilling. Very fun atmosphere around the hostel during the day and a lively bar at night which made spending time at the hostel all the more enjoyable.

Mi experiencia de estos ultimos 19 dias en Bled ha sido genial, es una zona preciosa y hay millones de cosas que hacer alrededor, respecto al trabajo es cierto que las horas trabajadas son las estipuladas pero se reparten a lo largo del dia asi que no hay tanta libertad como si fueran del tiron y sin paradas entre ellas, hay varios turnos diferentes de recepción de 2 a 6 de la tarde, apertura de cocinas a las 7 de la mañana y comprobación de que todo el hostal este limpio de 6 a 9 aparte del turno que hacemos gofod los voluntarios de 10 a 12:30 para cambiar camas y a las 22 para cerrar cocina.

I had an amazing time volunteering at the hostel. Spela and Denis put so much care into running the hostel and were super hospitable. The tasks you're required to do are straightforward, and with the hours you have to volunteer, you will still have lots of time to explore the area.

Volunteering alongside the hostel team was a true pleasure! I was given the chance to sharpen my service skills by engaging with people from all over the world, all while making valuable friendships and experiencing the local culture. the hostel was truly a home away from home and their team added an extra spark to my experience . If given the chance I'd 100% go back!

I had an absolutely amazing time at the hostel and even ended up extending my stay! Špela and Denis were very welcoming, generous and accomodating. The work was pretty much as expected; making beds and cleaning in the morning, and then a quick clean at night. Most days you have the afternoon free to do what you want and some you occasionally work at reception. Be a bit flexible and you'll have a great stay :) Lake Bled was an incredible location and I couldn't recommend this place more! 10/10 ⭐️

I had a great experience volunteering at the hostel- thank you Špela and Denis for everything! The hostel is in a perfect location & I'm so lucky I got to stay in Bled for 2 weeks and explore the area thoroughly! The morning work hours are easy & straightforward but if you are on reception expect to be needed at the hostel throughout the whole day. Met some amazing people here & I'll definitely be returning to Bled in the future. Thank you again Špela, Denis and the other staff members for being so accommodating:)

Špela and Denis were amazing hosts, super relaxed dynamic with volunteers. The permanant staff also made this place and its atmosphere. Great location, would definitely recommend this hostel for anyone wanting to stay in Bled longer term. Amazing group of volunteers, will miss everyone a lot! The only thing to note is there are days you're expected to work on reception throughout the afternoon. You're definitely compensated with all the benefits of this place though. Thank you!! :))

Volunteering here for the first time was an amazing experience! Špela and Dennis are outstanding hosts, and I'm so glad I worked with them and their amazing team. They are all incredibly kind, welcoming, and there very passionate about the hostel. The tasks were well-organized, mainly involving cleaning and occasionally assisting at the reception. The hostel's location is great—a short walk from the lake and a quick bus ride to other beautiful lakes and stunning hikes in the Julian Alps. I'm sad to leave but highly recommend volunteering here, and I'm already looking forward to returning!
