I cannot write enough good things about Špela, Denis, and the whole the hostel team. This experience was one I will never forget! It was my first time volunteering in a hostel and they were so helpful in teaching me everything. They have high expectations and are very clear about what the standards are, which honestly made it so easy to fit right into the team and to know what to do. There was so much time to explore the area and the flexibility was so appreciated. Gonna miss my Bled family so much <3

I would highlyyy recommend volunteering here! I came with a friend in May and we had the best time. The work was super chill, just 2 hours a day of housekeeping and cleaning. Bled itself is stunning with loads to do like hikes, swimming, and tonnes of activities. The hostel vibe was super social, we met new people pretty much every day and the bar downstairs was always buzzing. Špela and Denis were amazing hosts, so welcoming and always up for a laugh. Such a great experience all around and would hugely recommend it :)

Spêla and Denis could not have been better hosts! Very funny, genuine and caring about us and the hostel. I absolutely loved my time here! Bled is gorgeous with so much to do and we met countless new people as the common areas tended to be very social. The work was easy and much less than described only working about 2 hours a day, although someone is always needed around to check the place is clean. Food is not provided outside of peak season but when we asked about it they very kindly paid for our groceries so we were still looked after. Lots of love for the hostel and the bosses❤️

Dennis and Špela were lovely hosts! Absolutely enjoyed my time in bled and am very sad to leave. All the staff here are lovely and always down for some cheeky banter. Also a great place to meet new people as the foot-traffic is so high. This was my first volunteering experience and honestly I couldn't recommend it more especially to people who are thinking about volunteering but are a little nervous. I'll definitely be back to see the boss xx

The hostel team were all incredible and made the hostel feel like a second home. The hours were flexible and easy with around 2 hours per day of cleaning around the hostel. The staff are very social and welcoming as we often spent time in the bar with the staff and guests making friends! I highly recommend to anyone who is looking for a social hostel.

The hostel was amazing! Špela and Dennis were very welcoming to us. The work was exactly as advertised and they were flexible if you needed time off for a day. Bled was such a beautiful town and there's plenty to do during the rest of the day.

Spela, Dennis and the team at the hostel were fantastic hosts, they welcomed us and made us feel at home straight away. The work was explained to us in easy to understand terms and the work we completed was completely reasonable, we were never expected to do more than what was agreed upon. They also included us in local activities and showed us around the area beautifully.

Dennis and Špela were the perfect hosts for our experience in Slovenia 🇸🇮. We feel as if after the experience at the hostel, Lake bled is a new home away from home and will definitely be back. The work was very reasonable and left lots of time to explore the nearby lakes and surrounds!

I spent three weeks at the hostel and absolutely adored it. As this was my first volunteer experience I was nervous going into it but from day one I felt welcomed and comfortable. The work load is completely manageable and reasonable leaving heaps of time to explore Bled and the surrounding area. Spela and Dennis are such kind and thoughtful people who went out of their way to accommodate me and ensure I felt happy and comfortable. I also had the chance to meet some incredible people and make great friends during my stay. Would absolutely recommend volunteering here!!

I spent just under a month here and wow do I already miss it. Denis, spela and the whole team were incredible kind, generous and just such great people! Work was more than fair and had heaps of time for exploring bled and surrounding areas. Bled was stunning and would 100% come back in a heartbeat. Thanks so much, ERIN 😊
