I had a great time in a lovely place with amazing people :) The landscapes around you are incredible and make you forget everything about your daylife! The work is not difficult to do and you have a lot of free time,and they bring you everything you need so that you can enjoy your stay :)

It was my first volunteering and I loved it. Mariana and Pedro where lovely, who always made sure that u have everything what u need. U can always come to them and ask if u are unsure about sth and they will explain it to u. You are going to live in a Caravan next to the stables. Most of the Work is in the Morning with cleaning the stables, catching horses and giving them Hay. So u gonna have a lot of Freetime. The stable are in the middle of the National Park so u will be surrounded from the Beautiful Natur of Portugal. Take some warm stuff with u! It can get quite cold during the nigh

This was my first volunteering experience and I had a great time at the farm !! Mariana and Pedro were amazing hosts who welcomed me and made me feel at home immediately. I had a lot of fun working with the horses, but also learnt a lot about how to take care of them and to manage the stables. The nature around the house is beautiful and the bakery in the village makes the best pastels de nata !! It was a great experience that I would recommend to anyone. Thank you again for welcoming me at your place :)

This was definitly my best volunteer experience so far. Loved the horses, dogs but most of all Pedro and Mariana. They were the sweetest and checked in constantly with the volunteers and they really cared even though they are very busy. I was able to ride twice which was amazing, the area is rural so the bigger town is 1 hour walking to get some food etc. But hiking in the area is definitly beautifull. The work is clear, cleaning the boxes, water, feeding, raking and sweeping. Conclusion is that this is an amazing experience, thank you Pedro and Mariana for everything and i hope to see you ❤️

I had a great time volunteering here! The location is absolutely stunning. Mariana and Pedro were great hosts. The work was pretty easy and enjoyable. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to explore a more rural area of Portugal and enjoy nature.

Don't think, just Go! All I can say is Thank you. You come here to work as a volunteer in exchange of food and accommodation, but there's way more. You gain a spot in their family. Everything was amazing: the countryside, horses, people, dogs, walks, caffe downtown, the good vibe… as I've told Pedro, when I die, I want to be reborn as one of their horses. Pedro and Mariana are the best hosts ever, they represent generosity and kindness. Their horses are family, so if you truly love horses, this is the place. You learn, they give you rides… They are beautiful souls. I'll be back, promise❤️

This was such a unique and amazing experience, it felt like a one in a lifetime opportunity, you get to connect with nature and discover this breathtaking place, that not a lot of people have visited. Mariana and Pedro where the best hosts you could ask for, they are always looking after you and making sure you are alright, I have learn a lot from them. This is the perfect experience if you are looking to escape from the busy city life and just relax and work with beautiful animals and be surrounded by nature, I can't wait to go back one day.

I had a really great time. Anabela and Joana are very kind and made sure we always had what we needed. Also the communication and connection with Mariana was super uncomplicated. The guest house has a beautiful big garden and they have three dogs and some cats. The working ours were respected and mostly in the morning. The work was mainly garden work and some cleaning in the guest house. The nature around is absolutely beautiful and I went on many hikes and also saw some wild horses. You can walk to the village nearby in about 40 minutes. I would definetly recommend this host.

I really enjoyed my stay in the farm! If you enjoy being surrounded by beautiful landscapes, horses and countless hiking trails, this place is for you! The working hours are respected and the workload was quite what I expected - a little bit in the morning and a little in the afternoon. There's plenty of free time between two shifts to go the village nearby or simply hike around in the area. The collaboration with both Mariana and Pedro was very good, they are nice and caring hosts! I hope to visit them again sometime soon 😊
