Even though my stay was short since i had to leave earlier because of family stuff my experience there was amazing Mariana, Pedro and the rest of the family were very friendly and always willing to help the place is located in beautiful mountains with amazing views You need to be prepared for colder nights and some bugs since its a farm and it's always colder in the mountains id recommend it especially if you're going for the first time🫶🏻

The experience at the farm was very good, Mariana and Pedro are very welcoming hosts, they provide you with everything you need. You will sleep in a caravan with an other volunteer, if you go in November/December remember to take warm clothes because the weather is pretty cold. You will work mostly in the morning by cleaning the stable and bringing back the horses (they are free during the night). The rest of the day you will have a lot of free time, the place is pretty remote (the nearest village is about one hour walk) but there are a lot of nice walks you can do. I totally recommend it!

I had a great experience at the farm, the hosts Mariana and Pedro were kind and patient, their animals were all loved and well cared for. We never worked the full four hours and most of the work was in the morning. Me and another volunteer lived in a caravan beside the house, with a fully stocked kitchen to cook our meals. The surrounding area is very beautiful but also pretty remote, so remember to bring a few books or something to occupy your time. We also got the chance to go out riding with the clients, which was amazing, and visit Porto for a weekend. Overall I highly recommend!

My 2-week stay at the farm was an incredible experience! Mariana and Pedro, our hosts, were very welcoming and showed a true passion for their ecotourism project. I learned the true responsibility of caring for horses, even in extreme weather conditions like heavy rainfalls and strong winds during my stay. It was a valuable learning experience. I stayed in a cozy caravan, fully stocked with a kitchen filled with food. Mariana was always ready to help with any special requests. The surroundings were stunning, with vast landscapes and cows roaming the area. Definitely recommend this stay! :)

This experience was very good! Mariana and Pedro are kind and empathetic, they also help you with everything you need. The tasks are simple and were completed in 2 hours a day, after we had free time. The bad part for me was that I had a very bad weather and I could't enjoy my free time. I would definitely return at another time of the year.

Pedro and Mariana were great hosts, they treat the volunteers with respect and kindness and will always help you if needed. The nature is very beautiful and you can go on may great hikes. It is a great place to connect with animals and nature and disconnect from busy city life. Most of the work is done in the morning, the working hours are very manageable!

I love the experience. It is a nice place to really get away and focus on yourself and the nature around you. The work was easy and fun and we had a lot of free time to hike, go to the waterfall or the nearby town. Mariana and Pedro are super sweet and nice. I'm happy to have been here ✨️

Loved my stay with Pedro and Marina. Working with the horses in the beautiful mountains was really incredible. They are both very accommodating and if you ask them for something always try and make it work of possible. You are signing up for a remote mountain area tho, so as said before bring some books :) Thanks to everyone from the team 🌱

I had a very good experience at the farm. I came in a period when there weren't any guests, so it was quiet calm. The job was mostly in the morning : we had to clean the boxes, refill the water and bring some of the horses in the stables while others would be put on a closed pasture to let them eat all the day. In the evening, everybody was free in the fields. We lived (with another volunteer) in a caravan in front of the house. Mariana and Pedro were very kind and we could ask them all the questions we had in mind. If you enjoy animals and nature it is a good place to have a break.

I had 3 great weeks at the farm. The work was exactly what was communicated and the hosts were very nice and always there to help if we needed something. Plus the landscape around is absolutely beautiful. Make sure to bring a book or something as it is a very quiet, relaxing place :)
