I loved the time I spent at the organization. Sam is a very kind and admirable person. Jim is funny and he's a good teacher. Mark is generous, will always show us around when there was a chance and he cooks delicious meals! Thank you all, I felt at home! The job could be hard some days mainly depending on the weather but it's very satisfying and I've learned a lot. I will be back.

This was my second time volunteering with the team at the organization and can confirm that it is still one of the best experiences I have done. Although the project's job description might appear monotonous, once you are actually at the site, there are many different tasks to be done so that anyone no matter their skill level can find something to help out with in the project. The working hours are respected; the volunteers have a large shared dormitory; there is always plenty of food in the cantina; clean shower with hot water; and the team is really loving so you will feel right at home

It was my first volunteering experience ever and it was absolutely marvelous. People in charge are very passionate about the project and you can easily tell. Sam, Mark and Jim are amazing people and I'm glad I met them. They always listened to us and helped us when we needed it. Other volunteers I've met there are some of the nicest people I've ever met. I've learned a lot and I feel proud to be a part of this great project. I will gladly come back next year to place even more rocks and meet even more friendly people ^^

I really had a great time at the organization, my first time ever volunteering. Mark just cooks the most amazing food for lunch to keep us energised for the rest of the day. In the afternoon Jim distributes the various tasks. I was quite surprised at how open Jim always was to suggestions. Whenever a task became too repetitive or I wanted to try out something else he always had something different to do so that I could always keep learning and perform the tasks I enjoyed the most. Together with Sam, they were an amazing team and really made sure we got the best experience - don't think twice, just go!

Tive muita sorte de iniciar minha jornada de voluntariado, sendo selecionada pelo projeto a organização. Passei dias incríveis imersa numa experiência única, cheia de aprendizado e criando laços de amizade para a vida. Sam, Jim e Mark são pessoas inesquecíveis e oferecem o que eles tem de melhor todos os dias. Incansáveis na paciência, generosos com todos, eles são o "Trio Maravilha" desse projeto singular. O trabalho é pesado, carregar pedras e erguer muros não é para todo mundo, mas a recompensa de colaborar com a construção de um sonho é infinitamente maior do que qualquer cansaço...

Incredibly rewarding and memorable is how I would describe my stay at the organization. From the moment I arrived, I felt at home. Sam was always attentive to all our needs and we always felt appreciated. I got to learn new skills that I never thought I would and Jim was a delight to work with. Work was hard sometimes but Mark's mouth-watering meals were all we needed to fuel our bodies and souls. I also got to meet so many interesting people and I feel grateful to be able to be a small part of such an incredible passion project. I already miss the place and can't wait to come back next year.

During my stay at the organization I learned a lot, and had fun with all the volunteers and the hosts. Sam, Jim and Mark were all very nice and funny people, who were always telling stories or teaching you about something. Sam was always trying to look after us and made sure that we had more than we could ask for. Mark made amazing lunches and lifted the spirit with his dog Lenny, and Jim were always joking away and talking about his previous night. And even though I had to shorten my trip by 2 weeks, did I learn a lot about construction, the amazing project and even myself.

Getting to the organization was much better than I expected. Sam, James and Mark are magnificent people, who shared many of their incredible experiences with us. I am very grateful for the understanding they had for our low English and the patience in giving us the instructions. The food was delicious, in addition to always worrying that we don't lack anything 😊. Sam was incredible and we will definitely come back another time 🤗.

My experience was really great, I felt like family, I spent my birthday with them and they made me feel very special♥️. Sam is a wonderful person, like a dad who cares about our well-being at all times and is attentive to our needs. Jim who supports us in the construction solves our doubts with a lot of kindness and charisma is always with a smile 😊 Mr. Mark who surprises us every day with abundant and delicious food. We had such a good time and there is so much commitment in this project that more than one has returned, I will come back too. 🤗

This was my first volunteering experience with Worldpackers and it was a truly wonderful. Sam is very generous and shows ample appreciation for the work we provided. Delicious hearty meals were cooked for us everyday for lunch by Mark, which was always greatly anticipated. The work hours stated in the application were kept to. Jim helps everyday with the masonry and other construction tasks and was a complete joy to be in company with. Weekends were our off days and we were taken wherever we wanted to go to. Overall a meaningful and memorable experience and will be coming back in the future!
