Good bye el hostel es un sitio perfecto para conectar con la naturaleza, hacer rutas y conectar con voluntarios y viajeros de todo el mundo, dandote así la oportunidad de mejorar tu inglés. Marzena es super simpática, flexible y justa, preocupándose siempre por sus voluntarios, haciéndote sentir desde el primer día en casa. Aunque mi experiencia fue distinta porque cerraron el hostel un par de semanas, por la experiencia previa que tuve, puedo recomendar este sitio al 100/100, ojala poder volver algún día, gracias Marzena :)

GBL hostel is a special place - a home away from home! I really enjoyed my time there. The cabin and the mountains are perfect. All my love to MARZENA and the other volunteers and guests <3 Thank you for a very special month and hopefully see you soon!

My stay here couldn't have been more perfect!! Marzena is the kindest person ever and soo helpful! She always went above and beyond to make sure the work was okay with me. I really enjoyed the work as well, it was super simple and relaxed. Babysitting her kids is just a bonus !! They are so adorable and sweet🫶🏻 The other volunteers and guests i met everyday made the experience even more amazing🤗 The beautiful hikes and views walking distance from the hosteI are so amazing as well!!I highly recommend volunteering here if you want a family like stay that feels exactly like home 🫶🏻

I couldn't have asked for a better first volunteering experience, without even exaggerating, everything felt perfect. As everybody is saying: Marzena is the perfect host, the other volunteers were absolutely lovely and the location is breathtaking, with the national park and all the amazing hikes just around the corner. If you're looking for a safe, relaxing and fun place to volunteer at, this is definitely the place.

A magical experience!! Marzena is the most lovely host and really cares about the volunteers, she is the best. The work was so doable and fair and Marzena would always be thankful for everything. The hostel really is like the reviews say 'a home away from home' and every room of the hostel has little details/ art left from past volunteers or guests which make it the special place it is. the hostel is beautiful and you'll fall in love with the Tatra Mountains. I couldn't have asked for better volunteers to work with and I'll miss everyone a lot. The only problem was having to leave :(

It felt like home from the first minute. A place where the word cozy has its actual meaning. Marzena is an amazing and really kind person. The volunteer team was amazing as well. Many opportunities for beautiful hikes. A lot of free time to relax and slow down in life. 🫶 For now the hostel, I will definitely come back at some point of time:)

This was the absolute best time of my life! This was my first Worldpackers and truly could not have set the bar any higher. Marzena was an incredibly kind and capable host who always took care of us. The work was fun and very doable, with plenty of downtime to explore the mountain and get to know the guests and volunteers. Marzena always listened and implemented our suggestions and gave us a lot of freedom to make the hostel what we wanted! The other volunteers were amazing and the hostel was such a wonderful place to live. I cannot wait to come back one day.

Felt right at home away from home. I was kinda offended when the platform asked " what they could improve on?" They were amazing , the best. Nothing but respect and applause for Marzena. Such a great leader and even greater mother ❤️ felt nothing but love and respect at this hostel. And I was so happy to share my time and efforts and would easily do it over and over and overrrr agaaain Lubim Tyyyy Good Bye the hostel So sad to leave 😢 and so excited to visit you all again! That was an amazing experience! This is a social hostel, so you can talk to a lot of people. The mountains around are fascinating. the hostel is beautiful. Wonderful opportunity to relax. The work in the hostel is super easy, and marzena is the ideal "boss" you'd dream of: she's respectful, kind, attentious. Any extra work you may do - if you want to - is paid. I wish things were more like this in the "real" world. I made great friends that I'll keep in touch with. And I'll never forget the many things I've learned :)
