La experiencia fue bien y sin duda la recomendaría. A veces la comunicación es un poco complicada por el tema del idioma y eso en ocasiones dificulta el trabajo, pero con un poco de esfuerzo se puede uno entender sin problema. Yo me tuve que ir algo antes de lo previsto por motivos médicos y no hubo ningún problema.

I sincerely apologize for missing the opportunity to write this review earlier for Cristina. During her time with us, she proved to be a fantastic addition to our team. Cristina was attentive and hardworking, always maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and ensuring the comfort of our guests. Her kind and approachable attitude made her a favorite among both our staff and visitors. I learn a lot in the hostel, the tasks of reception are very easy to do, Also, it's a little bit more difficult the others task like make beds or cleaning, but with time and dedication you can do it quickly and good. Nina always offer me her help when I have many things to do, and I also help her at the night in reception, like a team, she is a very good person and I like to sit with her to share histories and learn new things. I want to say thank to Dina for teach me the first week, and Alex for his flexibility to change shifts. Thanks to Julia and Jan for help me . I only can say priviat

Before coming here I read other reviews and wondered if it would be a good idea to come here. "A lot of rules and tasks" seemed a bit stressful, but the reality turned out to be completely different. The rules and tasks are really very basic and you just have to have the will to fulfill them and you will learn very quickly. I am very grateful to Alex, Dina and Nina, they are very friendly and helpful, the atmosphere in the hostel is great, especially thanks to Nina here you feel like at home. I stayed in this place a few weeks longer than planned. I can definitely recommend this place!!!

Overall had a great time the hostel! you definitely need to be prepared to work hard at the hostel, as expectations are high. it took me a couple weeks to get the hang of things but i became capable and more confident in how to work in a hostel by the end of my stay. if you are willing to do your best work during your shifts i recommend the experience, sofia is a great city to explore through worldpackers and you will meet great people in the hostel!

This was my first experience with workpackers, and the truth is that it was great, I felt very comfortable and I was able to improve my English. The first week it was a bit difficult for me to adapt to the work, but with practice you relax and everything goes very smoothly, the hostel has a calm and familiar atmosphere, which was a plus for me, in short, a very good first experience !! :) 🖤🖤

Estoy muy agradecida por el tiempo que he pasado en Sofía y en el hostal. Al principio las tareas podían resultar un poco complicadas ya que se espera que las hagas perfectas, pero con el tiempo coges práctica y te das cuenta de lo sencillas que pueden ser y te sientes cómoda con el ritmo de trabajo. El hostal es un lugar limpio y acogedor, conoces a gente de todo el mundo y aprendes mucho de todos ellos. En general ha sido una experiencia muy feliz para mí. Muchas gracias a Dina, Alex y Nina por la oportunidad y por el cariño recibido.

You'll need to work hard during the shift but the experience is completely worth it. Specially if you meet other volunteers. Nina is going to be your boss and although at certain times communication may be slightly difficult you won't have much problems. And with time it is impossible not to love Nina. She even cooked us typical russian food and she made me a couple of gifts.

My experience the hostel N1 Sofia was magical. Nina, Alex, and all their family are really friendly and helpful even with the language barrier. They are really particular about some things, but they just want to ensure that the hostel is clean and the guests have a good experience. They are really patient in the learning process, and if u don't know something they will just show u again so next time u can do it perfectly :) the working hours are respected, at first maybe the tasks can seem like a lot, but after a couple of shifts u will see how clear and easy everything is. I'm really grateful

Minha experiência no hostel foi incrível! Foi meu primeiro voluntariado e cumpriu todas as expectativas. É um lugar com bastante regras, mas tudo foi avisado com antecedência. O hostel é pequeno e bem familiar então é muito fácil de se conectar com os outros voluntários e com os hóspedes. Conheci pessoas incríveis e pude fazer muita coisa, Nina e Alex foram muito gentis ensinando como fazer o trabalho e também eram bem abertos em relação a mudanças no cronograma.

The hostel felt very confortable and easy to live in for a month and having Nina around was amazing! The shifts can be pretty hard work but once you learn everything it goes smoothly and the shifts are no longer than 5 hours. Alex was flexible with the timetable of shifts abd you get to da free tour around Sofia. Overall I've learned a lot about how a hostel works and responsability and met a lot of good people!
