This fee is pro-rated for special cases and covers your accommodation, farm amenities, transportation to and from the farm, and basic food staples (rice, pasta, bread, and seasonings), along with fresh seasonal farm vegetables.

As a volunteer you are expected to: Live at the farm in the countryside during your stint- the farmer lives in the city one hour away by car, learn the basics of whatever work is being done on the farm and be able to do it on your own, arrange your work and free days schedule to accommodate the needs of the host, maintain a professional attitude towards the organization and all the activities, keep the facilities clean and use them respectfully, respect the local people and their ways, contribute your special skills if appropriate."
Attività e turni
Activities: Field inspections, organic cultivation of 50+ food varieties, harvesting, packing vegetables for sale, assisting with local tours/events, and specialized projects (Art/IT/Media).
Shifts: 6 hours per day, 5 days a week. Work typically starts mid-morning and continues into the afternoon with a scheduled break for a pre-prepared lunch.
Regole
Minimum stay of one month (shorter stays considered upon request).
Maintain professional conduct and facility cleanliness at all times.
Respect local Japanese customs and community members.
Lunch must be prepared before the workday begins; no cooking during work hours.
If preparing shared meals, a vegetarian menu is preferred by the host.
