Compared to my first time volunteering in Hiroshima, this time I had the chance to be more directly in touch with people while working at the reception. It was rewarding to welcome visitors and feel part of such a warm, well-organized team. I honestly couldn't recommend this experience enough; it's meaningful, well structured, and leaves you with unforgettable memories.

Ryoko-san and Fumi-san are phenomenal hosts that are both very easy to work with and accomodating. I would highly recommend Aki care to anyone wanting to explore Hiroshima. They are meticulous about cleanliness and provide an amazing common area to meet locals and other travellers. You can also easily get around anywhere with the e-bikes provided. Thank you Ryoko-san and Fumi-san!

Volunteering at the guest house was such a joyful and heartwarming experience! Every day felt special thanks to the kindness and support from Ryoko-san, Fumi-san, and the amazing team. The work was fair and enjoyable, and I always felt encouraged and appreciated. The hostel is not only clean and comfortable, but also in a perfect location to explore Hiroshima and meet wonderful travelers from all over the world. I'm leaving with beautiful memories and a big smile!

Spent 4 weeks at the guest house volunteering and had such an amazing time. The staff were welcoming, very kind and very helpful. The people I met here were some of the nicest people I've come across and the hostel itself is in a fantastic location, which gives easy access for sightseeing and exploribg exploring. Thank you fumi and ryoko for having me this month and being patient with me when my japanese wasn't great 🤣 Will definetly come back to visit

This was my first time doing volunteer work, so I was a little bit nervous before starting. But it turned out to be a good experience, and I really appreciate having had this opportunity. The hostel was very clean, and I could stay comfortably. At first, I thought the workload was challenging, but don't worry, you'll get used to it, and Ryoko-san teaches you very well.

I had a great time here! The team was really welcoming and lovely. Ryoko-san was a great teacher, took such good care of us and checked on us. Work was like agreed upon. Also, the location of the hostel is really convient ;). I would recommend this to others!!

The team at the guest house was really a joy to work with! I immediately felt welcome and supported because everybody there was super kind. The working hours are absolutely respected and everybody always checks in to make sure you're doing well :). I was really happy I got to stay here, it's perfect for exploring Hiroshima because it's so central and you meet a lot of travelers that you can really connect with <3.

It was my first time volunteering in Japan, and I had a great time there! I worked as a cleaner and receptionist, so I need to remember some things, but always all of the volunteers or staff help me! Ryoko san and Fumi san are very kind, so you don't need to worry anything;) Especially Ryoko san, she's like a mum, she always takes care of us! お世話になりました🥰❤️

Ryoko and everyone else working at the hostel are all so kind, respectful and patient while teaching you what they need you to do. The place itself is really clean and cozy and a great place to stay. It's really close to the train station and it's easy to get anywhere in the city from there as well. Overall I thoroughly enjoyed my time here and would definitely try to come back!
