This was a really fun place to stay! The work is really simple and really clear about where you should be and at what times so it was really easy to follow. Vanessa and the rest of the team are so patient, lovely, and really take the time to get to know you. You feel like you are part of the family very quickly and you get really good work-life balance. There is a park close by with animals and really good access to public transport which is really helpful and is not too far from the hotel airport. The other volunteers weer really lovely too and I made amazing friendships here

The hotel the Staff was great esp Vanessa always made sure to look after me The working tasks were very chill and within the agree hours I would recommend going to the hotel during the warmer season tho as there is more to do

My experience wasn't what I expected, i think i just didn't have luck. The offer mentioned 25 hours per week when i applied, but once I started, it changed to 30. Then, I saw I was scheduled for 33 hours. The following week, I was shocked to see 40 hours and just 1 day off, while other volunteers worked 18 hours with 3 days off. When I mentioned this, the manager responded rude, sarcastically and dismissed me. Despite this, the other volunteers and workers were amazing. However, the workload felt excessive for a volunteering position, it's a full time job with too many responsabilities.

No one was sarcastic or rude. As soon as you raised your concern, adjustments were made in my free evenings, despite the fact that you hadn’t always worked a full shift beforehand. We hoped for your understanding.
Even after a solution was found for this one-time situation, the issue continued when you informed us of your spontaneous one-week absence and requested time off.
Volunteers are here to help, and a certain level of flexibility is required.

This experience was really good for me. From my first day I was very well received and gradually I was introduced to the staff of the hostel. I remember some names that we spent time working together with: Vanessa, Anxhela, Amar, Jay, Hasy, German gay, Besa, Fatima, Ana, Leticia and Qefe. The tasks were really fair and I felt comfortable and free to learn about the hotel the surrounding area. For anyone who wants to collaborate and get to know the south of Germany and experience a bit of German life, this is the best place!

This was one of the best volunteer opportunities I have ever had. Vanessa was very kind and an excellent host. All the staff members are very friendly. The food and guest room were excellent. Thank you so much for everything. ❤️🇨🇴

I stayed two weeks at the hotel it was amazing. The staff is extremely nice and welcoming, the job is pretty easy and the hours are really good. The included breakfast has a lot of variety, the only “issue” is that while you have breakfast guests might come in, so you have to finish quickly. The facilities are really clean and organized, and it really helps having a washing machine and kitchen for free. I would definitely recommend this experience to volunteers that travel with a friend, as you have a lot of free time to sightsee and the job might be boring while being alone.

100% recommended. The staff is very friendly (they are mostly young and students). Vanessa was always attentive and we felt very welcome. The work is very simple and monotonous and the hours are respected. If you come as a couple I recommend it. There are no volunteer activities or events at the hostel, but if you are looking for a room and breakfast in exchange for a job this is your volunteer. So you have a lot of free time for yourself

I thank Vanesa and her team for make the best i enjoyed my expirience it was nice to get to know people from different places and be part of a cultural exchange, the activities were easy and the time was respect and the location is very nice you have the metro station near i would definely come back.

I loved this volunteer program, everyone in the hostel were so kind, the work is not difficult and the schedule it was always perfect and thanks to that me and my friend we could visit a lot of places near the hotel far from the hotel as well. It is perfect to practice German and English. I'm so thankful for this experience, specially because I made a lot of friendships in this volunteer so I 100% recommend it. Thank you Vanessa and team I hope I can come back again :).
