I liked my time at the hotel. Reception members here are amazing and welcoming. Main tasks were related to breakfast - cleaning tables or food counters. Sometimes we had to help maintenance people but there was no possibility of working in a bar. I had a free continental breakfast but it was always the same. Dinner was given (as leftovers) only when groups ordered it, not as advertised on their profile. Also, there are a lot of refugees at the hostel so volunteers can expect to meet Ukrainians, Syrians & etc. The location is very convenient, so I travelled around the city quite a lot.

This exchange in the hotel held up to its promises and is exactly as it was described. I worked 4 hour shifts in the morning to help with the hotel/hostel breakfast which included bussing tables and cleaning the dinning room. The work was easy and the accommodation was comfortable. Great location right next to the metro. I would have love to have more of a “welcoming” feel from the hostel workers and be more involved to feel more like a part of a community but if you're just looking for a place to rest your head at night, this is a good gig :) thanks Vanessa & team!

I had a wonderful experience volunteering at the hotel. My role mainly involved helping during breakfast, which was manageable and left me with ample time to explore the hotel surrounding cities. Vanessa and the team were incredibly welcoming and friendly, making my stay memorable. Meeting people from around the world added to the charm of the experience. I'm grateful for the opportunity and would recommend it to others seeking a fun volunteering experience. 💗

I had a great time at the hotel in the hotel! The team is great and Vanessa makes everyone feel welcome. I worked mostly in breakfast where my tasks were easy and the schedule is flexible. We had beakfast everyday and dinner on the nights that the guests odered it. Thank you for everything, Vanessa!

Very nice experience and nice volunteering mates! The people who work there are very friendly too! The work consisted of helping at the breakfast time and general maintenance. You get to have a lot of time to explore the city and surroundings. Recommend this host! Greetings to Vanessa and all the team!

I enjoyed my time at a&ohostel in the hotel! I spent here two weeks and I was helping at the breakfast. The task wasn't hard and the shift is 4 hours long. So you will have time to explore the hotel! Vanessa and all the staff are super friendly and kind. They have big international team and you would meet people from all over the world. Volunteers have their own room with a bathroom. You can have a free breakfast at the hotel sometimes dinner or lunch. Overall my experience was amazing! Thank you for everything.
