My stay at the castle was truly amazing. While the place itself is undeniably beautiful, what truly stood out was the exceptional hospitality of Sophie and Charles, the owners. They ensured I was comfortable throughout my entire visit. The work was simple, and the stunning landscapes made it all the more rewarding. The food was delicious, and the opportunity to spend free time exploring a historic castle was priceless. I highly recommend this experience!

I had the most amazing experience at the guest house. I stayed in the most beautiful room and spent my free time reading and exploring the grounds and walking along the river. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and I really enjoyed the delicious meals we shared together. The hours were very clear and the tasks were always well explained, I really enjoyed working in the gardens. Sophie was always very kind and helpful and went out of her way to make sure the volunteers had a good experience by driving us to visit another the guest house and a lake. I wish I could have stayed longer!

I would absolutely recommend this experience. The chatêau is incredibly beautiful. You get a lot of free time to explore its beauty and be immersed in nature . You work 4 hours a day , 5 days a week and the work is not difficult ! Sophie and Charles - Henri are amazing hosts . They are so welcoming, so kind , extremely generous. They cook delicious food for you every day ( which I will miss !). It is rewarding to contribute to the restoration of this beautiful the guest house. It was an experience that I am very grateful to have had <3 Thank you Sophie and Charles - Henri for having me😊

Sophie and Charles-Henri are the best hosts ever! They become a family with the volunteers. They are nice, cook good food for you and make you feel at home. They work hard but you only have to work 4 hours from 8am to 12. After this, you have a lot of free time to discover the castle grounds, read and so on. Sophie and Charles suggest activities in the area and take you there by car if needed. The other volunteers became my friends quickly and we did activities together in the afternoon, like hikes, boat rides or going to the lake. The castle is beautiful, I felt like a princess! I loved it!

Where do I even start…the guest house was truly incredible. This was my first ever Worldpackers experience and I'm not sure how anything else will top this. The property is stunning and I felt like a princess staying at the top of the historic 11th Century Medieval tower. Sophie and Chanre are both incredible, hardworking people who always cared about your happiness and were so welcoming and kind, helping me whenever I needed. I'm so grateful to have met them and stayed in this magical place. I won't ever forget my days in the gardens and Castle, miss it already! I'll be back for sure ✨

Words can't explain how amazing my time at the Chateux was. I was mesmerized by the castle's beauty from the moment I arrived. It is gorgeous and makes you feel like royalty. The company and the people are also great. When I arrived, Sophie greeted me with a big hug and a smile. Every single morning, we would start by going to the Boulangery together for bred and enjoy a delicious French breakfast. The assigned work was fun; you connect with nature and enjoy French air. The work hours were always respected, and after a long day of work, we would all enjoy a delicious lunch made with love.

This was by far the greatest experience!! Sophie and Charles-Henry welcomed me the first day with such familiarity and kindness that I felt at home immediately. They really were outstanding hosts and friends! the guest house was simply breathtaking with its rich history, beautiful buildings, and endless gardens.. I felt as if I had landed myself into a book! The work was honest and helpful, I really felt as though I was able to make a difference for the guest house. The surrounding area is also fantastic. So, I would highly recommend anyone to stay here!! Thank you again! Á bientôt!!

Without a doubt it was an unforgettable experience, both Sophie and Charles are very kind people, they make you feel welcome and are always willing to help you. It was my first volunteering experience and I will definitely do it again. I learned a lot, a beautiful place

My experience here was just wonderful. The whole place is stunning and I loved spending my free time walking around the beautiful grounds. The tasks were easy, hours were respected and everything was just as communicated beforehand. Sophie and Charles-Henri were super kind and welcoming, I always felt comfortable and right at home. I truly had a magical time and would definitely recommend :)
