Volunteering at the guest house of the guest house with Sophie and Charles-Henri was an unforgettable experience. The place is full of history and charm, and the hosts were kind, respectful, and very welcoming. I helped with various tasks like gardening and house keeping, and I learned a lot about French culture and heritage along the way. It was a great mix of work, learning, and connection. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a unique and meaningful stay!

My time at the guest house was easily one of the most special experiences of my life. Sophie and Charles-Henri are incredibly kind and patient people. While the work was sometimes difficult, it was all worth it. Working hours were always respected and tasks were explained thoroughly. I feel as though i gained a lot of new skills and learned hardwork. I will miss the gardens, the horses, (especially Iris), lunches with such good company in the keep exchanging stories, and the magic of the castle. I am so grateful to have been able to go on this trip. I hope to do it again someday.

Indeed, castle life is not easy, you have to remember that when you want to try the experience but one thing is sure the mission is worthwhile and your participation in this project makes us all grow. This was, without a doubt, the best month of my entire volunteering experience. I learned so much, and the hosts were incredibly kind and attentive. They always provided us with amazing meals and made sure we were comfortable at all times. The experience was truly exceptional – the people were so friendly, and they patiently helped us understand our tasks, making it all very enjoyable. You really disconnect from the world and connect with nature and the place itself. It was simply incredible, and I hope to return soon. I truly felt like it was my home away from home

Staying at such a beautiful the guest house is a mindblowing experience that I recommend from the bottom of my heart. What really makes this opportunity stand out is Sophie and Charles Henri, as they were the most amazing hosts, always caring, helpful and just great in every aspect. I have never imagined such kindness from hosts and I will never forget how well I was treated. The work itself varied in difficulty at times, but it was always doable and enjoyable as we were always grouped and did the tasks together. I am so grateful for the memories and friends I made and I hope to return one day!

I can only say thank you for this experience, I've been so happy here. Sophie and Charles deserve everything. Such warm-hearted people, they care so much for everyone to have their best possible experience. Whatever you need, they provide even before you ask. The place is magical, I always walked with a smile on my face while looking at the guest house. Whoever gets to do an experience like this is extremely lucky. Merci Dante pour ton travail sur les réseaux sociaux, je n'ai pas tout compris mais les chiffres ont sérieusement augmentés. J'espère que tu pourras également performer sur l'Amérique du Nord.
Tu nous a laissé trop de bonbons et Dominik ne peut pas en manger alors je vais essayer de faire un petit paquet cadeau pour Juan Camillo...
Quand tu seras à New York va prendre un verre ou diner au River Café sur le East River la vue sur Manhattan est tout simplement fantastique et nous y étions il y a quelques années donc nous serons un peu avec toi.

Sophie e Charles são simplesmente perfeitos! Tive um problema com meu trem e Charles me buscou na estação, as refeições preparadas por eles são uma delicia, o local é lindo e eles respeitam as horas de trabalho. São pessoas que eu queria chamar não apenas de anfitriões mas de verdadeiros amigos que me proporciaraam uma das experiências mais importsntes da minha vida. Eu sou muito grato à vocês e espero reencontrá-los em breve. Abraços!

It was my first experience with Worldpackers and it was amazing! The castle is breathtaking and the room I was given is really spacious and elegant! Sophie and Charles are really lovely people and they take care of us volunteers in every way possible. I think it was one of the best experiences of my life, and I would recommend it to anyone! I miss the breakfasts, the working mornings and the trips we did together, but more than anything I miss the smiles and laughter of every person I have met in recent weeks. Thank you Charles and Sophie for giving me the chance to be part of your mission :)

Honestly could not recommend this experience more. I was only at the guest house for a week but it wasn't enough by the end! I was there during a busy week so it wasn't easy work, but not difficult either, and the hours were very well respected. Sophie and Charles-Henri were so so welcoming too :) Overall extremely worth it !
