My first volunteering experience and I could not be more grateful for the time spent at the castle, Sophie and Charles-Henri' warmth made me feel welcomed from the very first moment, they are truly amazing people. After my time there I still couldn't believe I was living such an experience, every corner of the castle, every walk through the gardens and surroundings… are beautiful, full of charm. The work is very well balanced and easily done since they are patient explainers and understanding. Two weeks weren't enough in such a wonderful place, I'm hoping to come back one day🌟

10/10 experience — nothing could have been better. It wasn't just my first volunteering experience, it was also my first solo trip, so you can imagine how nervous I was to see how it would go. I must say I was really lucky to come across Sophie and Charles as the hosts of this experience — they treated me amazingly. It truly felt like home, and I had zero desire to leave... And what can I say about the castle… It's spectacular! Just working there felt like we should be the ones paying for the experience hahaha Without a doubt, I'd come back to this place a thousand times 😅

Sophie and Charles, they were the best people i've ever met. They were very kind and I felt very greeted. And also felt very comfortable like my home. the guest house was so beautiful, it was like the movies. I enjoyed my work, the food, the people and everything there. I already miss this place. I wish I could go back. I don't regret at all coming here. Thank you again for Sophie and Charles!

My time at the guest house was easily one of the most special experiences of my life. Sophie and Charles-Henri are incredibly kind and patient people. While the work was sometimes difficult, it was all worth it. Working hours were always respected and tasks were explained thoroughly. I feel as though i gained a lot of new skills and learned hardwork. I will miss the gardens, the horses, (especially Iris), lunches with such good company in the keep exchanging stories, and the magic of the castle. I am so grateful to have been able to go on this trip. I hope to do it again someday.

Indeed, castle life is not easy, you have to remember that when you want to try the experience but one thing is sure the mission is worthwhile and your participation in this project makes us all grow. This was, without a doubt, the best month of my entire volunteering experience. I learned so much, and the hosts were incredibly kind and attentive. They always provided us with amazing meals and made sure we were comfortable at all times. The experience was truly exceptional – the people were so friendly, and they patiently helped us understand our tasks, making it all very enjoyable. You really disconnect from the world and connect with nature and the place itself. It was simply incredible, and I hope to return soon. I truly felt like it was my home away from home

Staying at such a beautiful the guest house is a mindblowing experience that I recommend from the bottom of my heart. What really makes this opportunity stand out is Sophie and Charles Henri, as they were the most amazing hosts, always caring, helpful and just great in every aspect. I have never imagined such kindness from hosts and I will never forget how well I was treated. The work itself varied in difficulty at times, but it was always doable and enjoyable as we were always grouped and did the tasks together. I am so grateful for the memories and friends I made and I hope to return one day!
