I had an amazing time at the hotel for the two weeks I was there. Belen and Barbara were the sweetest! The pets Bolinhas and Tofu are absolutely perfect. And the people you meet are amazing. The 4 hours of work time is extremely respected and straight forward. And you get the rest of the day to do whatever you'd like. There is a car that you can take places (it is very old and is a manual car) but it gets you places. The living space can be a bit messy and is outdated but to me it felt cozy and homey. I'd highly recommend to anyone looking to meet people and experience aljezur authentically!

My stay at the hotel was great! The other volunteers in the hotel were super nice and it felt like a little family. The work is really easy and they respect the working hours. The surrounding nature is unique and the Arrifana beach is really close. You can take the car which they refill with gasoline and they also offer surfboards and wetsuits. As they have all been used by a lot of people don't expect the best quality:) The included breakfast and bread was really appreciated by everyone.

I had an amazing time at the hotel! I met so many great people and really enjoyed the atmosphere. We even had a car to use, which made it super easy to explore the area. The work was totally manageable, and there was plenty of time to go surfing or just relax at the beach. There's also a really cute dog and a cat that make the place even nicer. At first it was a bit unusual to live with so many people in one room, and things could get chaotic, but in the end it was a really fun and valuable experience. I'm really grateful for my time at the hotel and would definitely recommend it!

Thanks to everyone from the hotel for this brief time together. It has been a very enriching first volunteer experience for me. Each sunset feels different, but I especially keep in my heart the one in Monte Clérigo, and nights at Hugo's bar. From now on, Aljezur is for me the living portrait of Portugal.

Simplesmente incrível, minha primeira experiência pelo Worldpackers e foi muito satisfatória. Staff e voluntários super acolhedores, horário de trabalho devidamente respeitado e tudo é muito transparente. Tive que deixar o hotel alguns dias antes e não houve problema algum. Você pode usar a piscina nas horas vagas. Sei que a experiência de cada um é muito subjetiva, mas para mim foi bem completa, além do networking com toda equipe, conheci praias paradisíacas e pratiquei inglês. Tenho apenas a agradecer pois foi um privilégio viver estes dias no hotel!

Minha experiência no hotel foi incrível. Os voluntarios tem acesso ao cara para se locomover, as instalações são boas, o trabalho não é pesado e tem outras funcionárias do próprio hotel que te ajuda. O bairro em si é bem tranquilo. Nao tem muita coisa para fazer além da praia. Mas nos dias de folga, que são 2 seguidos, você pode ir até outras cidades, como Lagos que fica a 30 minutos de onibus. Enfim eu adorei minha estadia!🥹🥰

It was my second time in the hotel and I still love it! I was dreading to go home again. I love the place and my uto girls! I really recommend the experience if you don't mind living with ten people (it can get messy at times). But if you are up for a little bit if chaos you should be fine. I will come back!!

I had such a great time in the hotel. It was my first volunteer experience, and I loved it! The tasks weren't too complicated, but the cleaning more intense than I expected, hahahaha ​​(since it's a hotel, cleaning is more demanding, but it was still easy). The volunteer space was a bit basic, but it worked. I met wonderful people, as well as incredible beaches and sunsets. I highly recommend it for your first volunteer experience.

Aljezur will always hold a special place in my heart. The work was easy and well explained by Barbara and Belén – they are the best! You can always reach out to them if you need anything or just tips about the area. There's also a car for the volunteers, which is really cool. And then there's Bolinhas, a super cute dog , you'll have so much fun with him. I had such a great time volunteering at the hostel and met so many amazing people. :) Thank you for this wonderful experience!

I loved my stay at the hotel! I met so many amazing people and got to explore the beaches nearby, so it's perfect for you if you love nature. The work is mostly housekeeping, but not too hard and working hours are always respected. The living conditions are really simple and a little old, but there's everything you need, plus the volunteers have their own car and there's a really cute dog and cat :)
