Wonderful experience! Lol Hostel was my first host and visiting Siracusa was my first time solo travelling. Everybody on the staff is extremely kind and made me feel welcome, even before I arrived! I got to meet many kind people, travellers and locals, and got to practice Italian:) Siracusa is beautiful and there's a good bus system to explore the surrounding areas and cities. The work hours were always communicated clearly and respected and the tasks were mostly easy. I would ask the host if there are many groups staying or check if there are other volunteers at the same time!

Lol Hostel was such an amazing experience. The whole working team felt like a family and I absolutely fell in love with Siracusa during my stay! Thank you so much to the whole team and I highly recommend this experience!

My experience at Lol was truly amazing! I worked as a bartender, which was super fun. The shifts and off days were respected and made it easy to work, travel and rewind. The hostel itself is great and the cost support provided makes the stay even better. This was my third month in Sicily and Syracuse turned out to be the perfect quiet city to relax while enjoying local life. The atmosphere at the hostel made everything even more special, and I felt very welcome. Huge thanks to Pilar and Khris for their support. I'm really grateful for this opportunity and hope to come back, 100% recommend.

I had such an amazing time here at the LoL Hostel!! I came back after my first stay in march to also experience the city in the summer and I couldn't have made a better choice :)) Everybody was so welcoming, I felt like coming back to a home away from home and we had so much fun together! Thank you so much!! to you Pilar, to everyone working at the hostel, and to the other volunteers <3

My experience at the Lol hostel was amazing! The city is charming, full of history and beauty. I was warmly welcomed by Pilar, who was incredible with me the entire time. Nico and Kris were also great! The tasks were easygoing, and I had plenty of time to explore. I highly recommend this Worldpackers experience!

Minha experiencia de quase 2 meses no Hostel foi incrível, me conectei com pessoas muito legais e de todos os cantos do mundo que me fizeram crescer como pessoa e me enriquecer sobre culturas diferentes. Chris, Marina, Nico, Pilar e todas as colaboradoras que estavam presente ou passaram nesse tempo, foram essenciais para que eu me sentisse em casa. Meu muito obrigada e super recomendo essa experiência!

The plan was to stay for a month and I ended up staying a whole year, and I guess this already says a lot. I got a family and a home at the hostel and I'll miss it with all my heart. Highly recommend it :)

This was my first worldpackers experience and it was the best experience ever ! I loved everything about it and have nothing bad to say about it. The whole experience was perfect ! The hosts, the staff, the other volunteers etc. were so amazing, so nice and so welcoming! I felt so welcomed since the very start. I had the best time ever and will definitely be coming back ! Grazie mille per tutto !! :))

I loved my time at LOL hostel! The work was easy, everything as agreed upon and the city of Siracusa is a beautiful place to explore during your time off :) I felt really welcome at the hostel (Thank you Chris, Massimo and Marina) and the other volunteers were amazing too! I was also very happy i could improve my Italian during my stay (even if everyone speaks English too of course) and I hope to come back one day :)
