My experience at Lol was truly amazing! I worked as a bartender, which was super fun. The shifts and off days were respected and made it easy to work, travel and rewind. The hostel itself is great and the cost support provided makes the stay even better. This was my third month in Sicily and Syracuse turned out to be the perfect quiet city to relax while enjoying local life. The atmosphere at the hostel made everything even more special, and I felt very welcome. Huge thanks to Pilar and Khris for their support. I'm really grateful for this opportunity and hope to come back, 100% recommend.

I had such an amazing time here at the LoL Hostel!! I came back after my first stay in march to also experience the city in the summer and I couldn't have made a better choice :)) Everybody was so welcoming, I felt like coming back to a home away from home and we had so much fun together! My experience at the Lol hostel was amazing! The city is charming, full of history and beauty. I was warmly welcomed by Pilar, who was incredible with me the entire time. Nico and Kris were also great! The tasks were easygoing, and I had plenty of time to explore. I highly recommend this Worldpackers experience!

The plan was to stay for a month and I ended up staying a whole year, and I guess this already says a lot. I got a family and a home at the hostel and I'll miss it with all my heart. Highly recommend it :)

This was my first worldpackers experience and it was the best experience ever ! I loved everything about it and have nothing bad to say about it. The whole experience was perfect ! The hosts, the staff, the other volunteers etc. were so amazing, so nice and so welcoming! I felt so welcomed since the very start. I had the best time ever and will definitely be coming back ! I loved my time at LOL hostel! The work was easy, everything as agreed upon and the city of Siracusa is a beautiful place to explore during your time off :) I felt really welcome at the hostel (Thank you Chris, Massimo and Marina) and the other volunteers were amazing too! I was also very happy i could improve my Italian during my stay (even if everyone speaks English too of course) and I hope to come back one day :)

I had a wonderful time at LOL hostel. The work was very easy, although I was here during the off-season so maybe during summer months it would be a bit busier! The workload chill and the hours were exactly as agreed. The accomodation although basic was perfect for me, and had eveything I needed. Chris and Massimo were so kind and helpful the whole time! They were very warm and welcoming and I felt I could have gone to them with any problems. The city of Siracusa is beautiful and if you like to swim I think you will like it here. I am so grateful for my experience here, and hope to be back <3

This was my first volunteer experience and it couldn't have been better than this. I had an awesome time at LOL hostel and in the beautiful Siracusa. The staff is soooo nice (Christian and Massimo, grazie mille!) and the others workers/volunteers were amazing also. The tasks were simple and exciting, so glad I had the opportunity to develop important skills at the reception and at the bar. I hope to come back next summer. Ci vediamo!
