Russel was a great host! He always cared about each of us and I got sick twice and he got medicine for me both times. I had to shorten my stay and he was super understanding. The people at the guest house were great and some of the other travelers have become my long life friends. I definitely recommend. Thank you Russel :)

I've stayed there for 3 weeks and It was a very nice experience! Russel is very friendly and will help you if you have any problems. I have meet a lot of awesome peoples and the work is easy, you learn a lot about the Korean culture and a lot of very interesting stories. The city is quiet but there is few nice restaurants, cafes and place to visit. Thank you again, I hope to come again soon ☺️

My experience at the guest house was nothing short of amazing! I made so many great friends with both Koreans and the other volunteers. My only regret is that I didn't stay longer, the work was fulfilling and Russel was the best host anyone could ask for.

Daejeon as a city is a smaller and more quiet than Seoul what I'd say is it's biggest advantage. You still have everything you could need in a walkable distance, but it's not too overcrowded. I made a ton of new friends while I was there (which I'm still in contact with and will be😁) Russell is a very kindhearted man, who will go out of his way to make you feel comfortable. Depending on how outgoing and structured you are as a person, you'll have a lot to explore. There is so much more to say, but I don't want to overflood these comments. I stayed with Russell on short notice and for 2 weeks. It was an amazing experience and I am so glad I did it. He was so kind and caring, being a Muslim he respected the way I did things or tried his best to learn and accommodate me accordingly. I met amazing people during my time there and made friendships and memories I know that will last. The place itself is a nice one to live in and the work is interesting and easy going. I would recommend this to anyone looking to gain experience if you want to this is a good place for you! Thank you again Russell I will be back ! 🥹

My time at the language studio the guest house was absolutely wonderful! Even though I was able to join for only 2 weeks, I've had the chance to experience lots of interesting and fun conversations with locals while simultaneously learn about the Korean culture and everyday life. Russell is a great host who is very attentive, kind and always happy to help. I felt very welcomed and would highly recommend this experience to anyone who is seeking a unique travel experience. Staying the guest house studio the guest house was a great experience for me. During work I met a lot of interesting people and managed to get some new friends that are both Korean and foreign. Beside work I had enough time to explore Daejeon or even visit other cities. The host here is a good person that tries to make things work for everyone involved. He is also a good person to ask for advice if you have any trouble or if you just want some traveling recommendations. Overall this was a good experience that I will never forget.
