This was my first volunteer experience and I couldn't recommend it enough!!! The whole team is so welcoming and kind and it really feels like a family. The work is easy to get your head around and everyone was always willing to help and answer any questions I had. The schedule is also really well organised so you always know when your shifts are and what you are doing. I loved the hostel so much and miss it already 🩷

What should I say, my experience at the hostel was beyond incredible. I didn't meet a single staff member that wasn't absolutely lovely, caring and kind. Even though I was "just" a volunteer, I always felt very appreciated and my ideas fully respected by Koen, Marion, Julia and the rest of the amazing front office team. The atmosphere within the volunteers and staff members is unbelievably supportive and loving, like in a little family. I never felt lonely once! I would 100% recommend it, especially for those seeking actual deep relationships whilst being abroad. All the love for the hostel <3

The hostel was amazing! The greatest work and stay I could have asked for, working and living with the other volunteers brings a deep sense of family. The host provides exactly what was expected plus so much more. If you are ever debating on going to the hostel, just do it! You'll have a phenomenal time!

The team at the hostel is absolutely phenomenal, you will not find a better hostel volunteer opportunity. The staff and the volunteers so quickly become a little family and everyone is so welcoming and happy to have you. The work is easy and as described, theres lots of free time to explore and have fun with the team. I've seen many major sights in the Netherlands as well as tons of hidden gems and cool spots I never would have discovered on my own. I truly can't express how incredible this experience was, I will never forget all the people I've met here and Tilburg will always have my heart <3

Words can't even express how amazing this experience was. From the moment of my arrival this place just felt like home to me and by the time the people became like a second family to me, both volunteers and staff members, they really made my time at the hostel! The facilities are great, you get provided with everything you need and the work is really fair as well, working hours are always respected. I can't recommend this place more, the only negative thing is how high your standards for every other place will be. Thanks for everything guys, I'll see you all again soon!

If you are considering doing a Worldpackers experience you have to make it this one!! My experience at the hostel has been absolutely incredible! From the instant I arrived I felt so welcomed! The staff and other volunteers quickly became like family. The work is super easy and there's always so much free time after shifts. The facilities also are beyond what I expected, having a whole seperate staff area with a kitchen and living room was so great! This was really a highlight of my Europe trip and I'll never forget it :)

Super cool people and space! its easy to feel at home. just beware you're going to have sandwiches everyday for lunch ;P a lot of good aspects to balance it out though

I have nothing to complain about the employees, they work more than they're supposed to. However, we had to leave 2 months earlier because in addition to working the night shift, without any days off, we also had 4 extra shifts during the day (not previously arranged). There also happened to be activities during free time (mandatory). We tried to talk to the owner, but what was offered was not equivalent. When we left we found out that the complaints we made weren't even broughten up to the manager. We felt disrespected. It's a pity because the hostel has potential.

We have already talked a lot about this situation with you guys, and we tried our best to solve the miscommunication and the different expectations you had. In the end you even mentioned that you would write a positive review, if I would do the same. So, I am pretty surprised that you guys did not return your end of the deal.

And again, leaving the hostel in the middle of the night is not a choice I would have made. Giving us no time to find a replacement for a nightshift while we thought the problems were solved. ;)
