The hostel is such a great Hostel! The team really made me feel at home within the first couple days and the other volunteers were so sweet. The tasks were as expected and the location is amazing for getting around both The Netherlands and making trips to Belgium (I was able to see several cities in both in my 2 months here). Also highly recommend staying for as long as you can :)

Loved my month here! One of the best things about the hostel is the warm family atmosphere between everyone who works there. There's no social division between staff and volunteers, everyone gets along so well and that makes for a really fun place to live and work. Meals are also super well taken care of, and volunteers have a really big and cosy living space :) One small word of warning for people interested in the Breakfast and Bar position- it is 90% breakfast shifts and for those you need to be up at 6.50am- ideal for early birds! (The work is so fun though.) Will miss this place a lot🧡

I really recommend volunteering at the hostel, you will have such a fun time and meet so many amazing people!💛 The atmosphere was very friendly and social and there were plenty of activities we all did together such as dinner parties, day trips, game nights and nights out. The location is great for travelling around The Netherlands and to other countries. The owners and staff truly care about the volunteers and Julia was very accommodating with shifts/ requesting days off. The work was fair and shifts could sometimes be a bit drawn out but for all you get in return it is totally worth it!

The hostel was my first volunteer experience and it was totally amazing! I highly recommend going there, the team is lovely and receptive and you are going to meet people from all over the world. They fulfill everything that is in the profile and you are not have any trouble with that :) Tilburg is a nice city and you can visit other countries and also nearby places from there with no problems. I loved it ❤️

The hostel has truly become a home away from home for me. I have never been anywhere else where the volunteers keep coming back as it is an experience like no other. It is truly my new family and I cannot recommend volunteering here enough. You'll have fun with the staff, you'll laugh, you'll party, you'll have game nights and cosy nights in. More than a work experience, you'll feel like you're at summer camp with your besties! Love you all and can't wait to see you soon!

Living and working at the hostel was such a unique and lovely experience that could not be replicated anywhere else in the world. the work was rarely difficult and mostly flexible for scheduling! I am so grateful for this amazing experience, but especially for the people that helped make it so memorable.

My time at the hostel was an unforgettable experience! From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed and immediately at home. The atmosphere at the hostel is incredibly warm and friendly. The management is always attentive to the volunteer ! What I loved the most was the opportunity to connect with people from all over the world, improve my language skills, and immerse myself in the local culture. My experience at the hostel was absolutely incredible! I even extended my stay within my first two weeks of arriving! Julia does an amazing job of selecting volunteers who all really mesh well together so it's an extremely supportive and fun work environment. The shifts are fair and as agreed, and the schedule is flexible with days off. Definitely apply if you are even considering it, because it will one of the most memorable experiences you will have 🫶thank you the hostel!

The hostel is definitely one of the best experiences I have ever had. All the staff are super welcoming, attentive and care about making you feel at home, they are incredible. The work is fair and respects what is agreed in advance. All agreed meals are fulfilled, with options that respect dietary restrictions. The environment is healthy and fun. You will find a family at the hostel. This is a great opportunity to connect with the Netherlands and its culture, I could not have chosen a better place for my first volunteering.
