My experience was the best. Merche, Sara, and Sergio are amazing people, always looking out for each of us, which makes the work environment even better. The job is easy and calm, and the best part is that we work as a team, making everything more enjoyable. Without a doubt, this has been one of the best experiences I've ever had. Plus, I had the opportunity to explore Edinburgh, a fascinating city full of history and culture, which made this experience even more special. I'm going to miss them so much—I truly felt like it was my second home.

Honestly I didn't know what to expect but volunteering at the hostel really set my standards high. My team was composed of about 15 people. The managers are always keeping an eye on us which is good because all the volunteers behaved. Personally, I met some of the most amazing people; I used to eat and hang out with them. Finally, the position of the hostel is ideal and there is plenty of things to do in the city. I'm lucky to have been there!

If you want to make the most of Edinburgh during the Fringe, this hostel is no doubt a great choice! The location is excellent — street performers right outside and the city centre within walking distance, with a pleasant park nearby for reading or relaxing. Downsides: it's often very busy, so communal areas show some wear; no laundry at weekends; and Wi-Fi was unreliable during my stay, which made remote work tricky. Still, the managers and the volunteer team are warm, helpful, and flexible with schedules, making it an overall welcoming place!

This is my experience more rewarding! I meet incredible persones! Sergio and Merche are kind and friendly persons! I love they, I loved my experience! The place is close to the center Edinburgh! And you can meet people of differents countries.

It was really fun. The place is lovely and so are the staff and the managers. Everyone is very nice and very helpful, the hostel is clean and the common areas are great. Truly a great experience.

Before coming, I had heard just cool things about this place. After living one month, I could just say lovely comments about not only the hostel, but also about the managers and team. I'm grateful for this experience, Sergio and Merche are the best managers I've worked during my trip. Working hours are fair with plenty of free time to discover this Bonnie city. Definitely I'm gonna come back. Thanks for everything 💜

My experience at the Edinburgh Backapckers hostel was fantastic. The working hours are fixed from the beginning and they are not many, so you have a lot of free time to go around the city. The work is simple and you get used to it easily. There is a family atmosphere with the other volunteers which makes the hostel feel like home. Initially I was supposed to stay for a month but I extended for another month. If I have the opportunity I will definitely come back ❤️

I would highly recommend EBH to anyone looking for a new experience and cool way to get to know Edinburgh. The hostel is in a brilliant location just off the Royal Mile. Sergio, Pedro and Merche are great managers to work with. All tasks are explained well and they create a fun environment to live in. APPLY NOW!
