Alexander was a welcoming host. From the start, I felt like I could count on him for whatever reason and he made me feel safe. You can truly feel how much this kind man is taking good care of volunteers and looks over everyone's wellbeing. The work was well organized, with a board of tasks and everyone was rotating around. In La Comarca, there was absolutely no pressure, the energy was light the entire time proper for sharing everything with each other. Worldpackers was a perfect opportunity to practice my spanish skills and learn on other countries. I loved La Comarca and wish Alex the best!

My experience at La Comarca was amazing! Alex was an amazing host and very good at helping me and other volunteers learn new skills. Our tasks were pretty easy and there was a lot of flexibility. We went to some amazing places when not doing work. I met so many cool people from around the world who were all very nice. The scenery is beautiful there and lots of cool wildlife. It was a very welcoming and fun place to volunteer!

I loved the time at the lodge Side. We stayed 2 weeks and we felt very welcoming. We loved to cook together and had a lot of fun. We met very Kind and lovely people from all over the World.🌎 The work was easy for us and also flexible. We went to the Beach all together by car. It was so Beautiful and we loved the nature life. Everything Outside. Fresh coconuts in the Garden.🥥

I really enjoyed my time at La Comarca! The community with the other volunteers made it possible to get to know different cultures. The working hours were great, as stated. All in all, it was a very great stay at La Comarca !

In short: Alex has been more than kind, our fellow volunteers more than the lodge, the food more than amazing, the nature more than beautiful, and the work more than doable. We were truly sad to leave after so many adventures together. The days are quite short in terms of work, so there was plenty of time to cook, bake, play games, or go to the beach or National park together. Even when Alex had to go for a couple of days, we had a lot of fun together with his dad and the other volunteers. 10/10 would recommend!

I had such a wonderful stay at la comarca and recommend it to all! Alex is such a kind host and makes sure all feel welcome. The work is very manageable and there is lots of flexibility in the tasks you do. During off days you can explore the lodge and the surrounding sites :) I hope to return and volunteer again soon!
