The month I spent at the hostel has easily been one of the best ones of my life - I've met amazing people from all around the world and had the chance to learn so much about myself. Stephanie, the manager, is very understanding and flexible; she gave me days off together so that I could go camping, and I never felt like the work was hard or took too much time. The staff and other volunteers were also lovely - it really felt like a family and made leaving so hard. There is a generous breakfast allowance, and the staff kitchen and volunteer rooms were perfect too. I can't recommend this enough!!

Una experiencia maravillosa y divertida!! El trabajo es sencillo y está muy bien organizado. Todas las semanas facilitan una planificación de la semana siguiente siendo flexibles si alguien lo necesita. Hay una habitación para el staff compartida donde duermen todos los voluntarios. Es muy buena oportunidad para conocer gente de todas partes, no solo con los voluntarios si no también con los huéspedes del Hostel. El idioma común es el inglés, por lo que si quieres mejorarlo es muy útil también. Estoy muy agradecida por todo a Stephanie. Lo recomiendo 100%. Volveré ☺️

This is my second experience at this hostel it's so wonderful here 10/10. Stephanie is a lovely manager the vibes are great. The work hours are what they say easy work and working with the other volunteers makes it fun. I love Edinburgh it's such a beautiful city and the hostel is in such a great area.

My fourth time back and it was just as amazing as the last few. This is a great hostel for first time volunteers, I cannot recommend it enough. A lot of my personal and social growth I owe to this place. the hostel itself is cosy and runs very well but don't have high expectations (it's an old Scottish building). Stephanie and Mica are great managers and I know I have a home here if I ever decide to come back.

I had an amazing experience at the hostel! The team was incredibly kind and I made some amazing friends among the volunteers! The work is really easy and I had plenty of time to check of everything of my very long list of things to do in Edinburgh! I 100% recommend the hostel to other travelers!!! :)

Volunteering at this hostel has been such a great experience! The vibe is chill and social, with a diverse group of volunteers and plenty of events to get involved in. There's a great energy in the hostel with a strong sense of community. Tasks are clear, respected, and well explained, and the management is super flexible and communicative. Everyone here is lovely—I've enjoyed it so much that I'm extending my stay and taking on a new role. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a positive, well-run, and welcoming hostel environment to volunteer in!

I truly loved my days at the hostel! The team is amazing, always caring about the well-being of volunteers and making sure we have a great experience. The location is excellent and makes it really easy to explore the city. The schedule and tasks are super organized, which makes the routine smooth and enjoyable. On top of that, the team is kind, flexible, and full of wonderful people! I met friends that I will carry in my heart. I left already wishing to come back and I definitely will!

I am so glad this was my first Worldpackers volunteering experience. The work was exactly as agreed. The other volunteers were amazing, and the atmosphere was very nice and welcoming. Edinburgh is such a beautiful city, full of history and charm. I definitely recommend this hostel!

I had such fun days here at the hostel, I felt at home. The work was easy, and I had plenty of time to explore Edinburgh and go out with the other volunteers. I met fantastic people, whom I'll miss and hope to see again. Many thanks to Stephanie, who was always available, flexible, and fun, and who even joined us during our night parties. I'm already nostalgic about everything. For sure, if I have the opportunity, I'll come back. 100% recommended!
