La Controra Hostel
Naples is an amazing city! Absolutely unique town in Italy and all Europe!
Our hostel is one of the best structures of the city, with a lot of chilling spaces (bar, tv saloon, working spaces, big garden...) and it is raw to find this kind of place in the city.
Volunteers will be able to meet people from all around the world, have fun and relax on your free time, but also learn about the napolitan culture with our local staff!
We are already a pretty "big" structure with more than 80 beds but we always try to keep a family vibes! So volunteers will be part of our team as a complete member of it! We try to communicate a lot between us and think that this is very important for the good ambiance!

Staying at La Controra was everything I wanted it to be and more. My main goal is always to get to know the people (and in this case, to eat a lot of food) and get to know the people I did. The hours are extremely fair and the work is easy, giving you plenty of time to explore all of the amazing food and views of Napoli.
A very sweet place, with very sweet people and very nice sweets, I will miss you all! See you one dayyy :))

The best voluntary experience, I would highly recommend! Everyone was so welcoming, friendly and kind making me feel included and immediately connected with the place. The work was easy and hours super fair! I would love to come back again !!! :)

It’s been one of the most beautiful experiences of my life. The tasks are very simple, and the schedule even allows you to explore Naples during your working days. It’s a place that gives you the opportunity to meet people from all over the world, and the staff are truly lovely. I loved it!

This was truely an amazing experience. To start, Naples is an amazing city. Within its chaos there is so much beauty. The hostel is amazing, very well equiped. The staff is amazing, during these almost 2 months I gained a family. The tasks are very easy, and you have plenty of time to explore Naples and surrounding areas. Chris, Gianmaria, all the receptionists, bar staff, cleaners, etc are all amazing. The only negative thing is having to leave, I will forever remember this experience and will certainly come back.
