La Controra Hostel
Naples is an amazing city! Absolutely unique town in Italy and all Europe!
Our hostel is one of the best structures of the city, with a lot of chilling spaces (bar, tv saloon, working spaces, big garden...) and it is raw to find this kind of place in the city.
Volunteers will be able to meet people from all around the world, have fun and relax on your free time, but also learn about the napolitan culture with our local staff!
We are already a pretty "big" structure with more than 80 beds but we always try to keep a family vibes! So volunteers will be part of our team as a complete member of it! We try to communicate a lot between us and think that this is very important for the good ambiance!

Esta foi minha primeira experiência de voluntariado, e não poderia ter sido mais incrível. Fui muito bem acolhida por toda a equipe do hostel, que é muito gente boa, me sentia muitas vezes como se estivesse em casa, mesmo tendo inglês básico. O Chris, que é o responsável, tem muita consciência do que é ser voluntário, então estimula um ambiente de colaboração, conexão e integração intercultural. As horas de trabalho são poucas e o trabalho é fácil e respeitado conforme o combinado, o que possibilita tempo livre para explorar Nápoles! Saudades de todos voluntários e equipe do hostel :)

La Controra ha sido por lejos la mejor experiencia que he tenido ! Acá puedes encontrar personas muy lindas y dispuestas a ayudarte. Además, Napoli es una ciudad hermosa y loca (en el buen sentido), tienen la mejor comida del mundo. Los horarios de trabajo son avisados con mucha anticipación lo cual ayuda a organizarte durante la semana. Sin duda me encantaría volver. Muchas gracias a todo el equipo de la Controra y a mis queridos compañeros del voluntariado, fueron 2 meses hermosos. Muchas gracias !!!

Staying at La Controra was everything I wanted it to be and more. My main goal is always to get to know the people (and in this case, to eat a lot of food) and get to know the people I did. The hours are extremely fair and the work is easy, giving you plenty of time to explore all of the amazing food and views of Napoli.
A very sweet place, with very sweet people and very nice sweets, I will miss you all! See you one dayyy :))

The best voluntary experience, I would highly recommend! Everyone was so welcoming, friendly and kind making me feel included and immediately connected with the place. The work was easy and hours super fair! I would love to come back again !!! :)

It’s been one of the most beautiful experiences of my life. The tasks are very simple, and the schedule even allows you to explore Naples during your working days. It’s a place that gives you the opportunity to meet people from all over the world, and the staff are truly lovely. I loved it!
